  1. Oops! CANCEL! I totally forgot that I posted a similar question at the beginning of the year. NEVERMIND.......
  2. I was wondering if this system could be a good gamer with only a minimum amount of modification. This is a Wincor/Nixdorf Beetle MIII. Its specs can be found here: https://www.dieboldnixdorf.com/-/media/diebold/files/retail/pos-systems-en/dn_productcard_beetle-m-iii_landscape_a4_v1-1_052017_fa_us.pdf This PDF says an MIII can be equipped with an Intel Core i5-9500E, 6x 3.0-4.2 GHz. The only issue I see is that the document doesn't say what kind of fideo card this unit has. A shot-in-the dark guess says the default card wouldn't be such a great gamer. Thanks so much! .
  3. Would a retired Point-of-Sales make a good gamer?? Here's a system that piqued my curiosity. This is a Diebold-Nixdorf BEETLE/M-III. According to the Diebold-Nixdorf web site, this machine can run Intel Core i5-9500E, 6x 3.0-4.2 GHz and use up to 32Gb of DDR4 RAM. A product information PDF can be found on the DN web site. DN says this machine can use POSReady7/Windows 7 and Win10 IoT Enterprise. The docs doesn't say anything about Win10 Pro. Being made for retail point-of-sales, this machine has some exotic parts like 12V and 24V USB. I don't know if such exotic parts would interfere with playing games. If Linus can get one and test it as a gamer, that would be awesome. Any more knowledge about this system would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
  4. In the video entitled "Nvidia Said We Couldn't Game On This Crypto Mining Card..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY4s35uULg4 There was some talk about soldering on an HDMI port to a mining card that had no output. in the video, this was mentioned at 15:18. Did that ever happen?? Thanks so much!
