  1. Hi, I keep getting the dxgi_error_device_removed error whenever I play Rise of the Tomb Raider. I don't suspect it is a hardware problem as my gpu never crashes any other game or my OS. Here are a list of things I have tried: Check for DirectX update via dxwebSetup.exe Clean reinstall of graphics driver Little to no overclock on gpu (1060 6gb) +10 +10, and +0, +0 Update MSI afterburner Check temps with MSI afterburner, 45-70C Check for windows update Ran the directX error checker command thing Verified game install with steam Verified OS integrity with the cmd tool Tried the registry edit to remove error message (just results in crash/lock) Physically reinstalled my gpu and cleaned my case and components Any suggestions would be great, I would love to play through this game but it is nearly impossible to play for more than 5-10 minuets. This is odd too because when I stared a new save I was able to play for a few hours with no crash.

  3. Hello This is my first post on the forum. I hope someone can provide a possible fix. Basically I got an old monitor on sale. I plug it in and it turns on for a few seconds then the screen goes black. Its a Dell E2209Wf is anyone cares. Dell was not at all helpful. The odd thing about this is that the monitor doesn't shut off, the screen just goes black. It can still take a VGA and DVI input (and display it for 2-3 seconds before going dark), which is why I want to try and save it. I speculate that it may be either a something related to how it is handling power, or one or more of the backlights are dead or no good. This later is my speculation as the monitor is like 10 years old (it can still be found online for like $100 but I got it for $20. I also noticed that when the image disappears something stops making noise in the back, but it doesn't all stop which is how I know it is not dead. Any feedback suggestions or input into how to fix this problem would be extremely helpful. Rednamalas
