Update the BIOS if you haven't. They usually improve the post and boot times with each version.

Lots of these sites are used for people to whitewash money with game keys and stuff. Plenty of people buy these with creditcard info they obtained and get money this way.

Blame the scalpers, even the brick and mortar shops in my neck of the woods are scalpers themselves. For that price range, you'd be better off trying for an RX 6800 (non-XT) instead, but good luck finding one. Why not try Amazon?

I've ordered a PowerColor RX 6900XT Red Devil LE and an XFX Speedster MERC319 RX 6900XT, delivery would be a month or two. I'd take whichever ships first....on a side note, I can wait because I have a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800 in my main rig (will be replaced with the 6900XT) and for games without RT, this is a beast of a card! Can't wait to get my mitts on the 6900 XT!!!

GamingSeargent reacted to Prodigy_Smit in Is the GTX 1650 Super a good placeholder card until I can get a 6800xt?
It is but going by the specs in your sig both the 1650 and the 6800xt will be heavily bottlenecked.

No problem. In that case the 1650 is a good placeholder card.

GamingSeargent reacted to Mateyyy in How many watts would I need for a 5600x and rx 6800xt system?
Anyway, to come back to OP's question (@GamingSeargent), 650W would be fine for those components.

To comment on the specific unit, the RM is good, though Super Flower's Leadex III 650W looks to be available for slightly cheaper, and I'd say it's at least just as good as the RM: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/VbhmP6/super-flower-leadex-iii-gold-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-sf-650f14hg
Either unit should work fine for your parts though.

GamingSeargent reacted to George. in Should I disable these components?
the charging control thing seems like a fast charging switch - where the driver gains low-level control and turns on/off fast charging.
the battery check thing I assume only reads battery status data and reports it to the user...could be disabled, but needs to be researched in this exact case.
igfx tray is the tray icon for the Intel Integrated graphics app, it should still work if you disable it, just won't appear among the tray icons.
Rainmeter would probably reduce your booting time considerebly, but I assume you want it running for customization purposes.

Best thing you could do is press right mouse key on each of them and select "search online" then you will be redirected to a list of sites that explain the exact purpose of the exact task with the exact process name.

    Just nit picks.

Completely ignoring the blinky light thing (imho I don’t understand paying extra for blinky lights.  People do it though) I’ve seen arguments that there isn’t a lot of reason to pay more to get a fast SSD currently.  The whole fast SSD thing may become really important but if it does something faster than is even sold today will likely be required.

Might want to check to make sure the PSU is in the correct range.  It might be ok, or it might be low.

the price of aftermarket cards tend to differ from retailer to retailer so i wouldnt worry about it if its that pricey.

the only options that i see is either the hyperx cloud 2 or the razer kraken tournament edition, but whether you want or think you even need surround sound is up to you.

and now its time for me to go to bed since its almost 5 am lol..

if at all possible try to get your hands on a sapphire nitro+ rx 6800 xt, ive had really good luck with nitro+ amd cards

i personally recommend the razer deathadder v2, or the Razer Basilisk v2

you really should try to get a headset that has 7.1 surround sound

asides for some minor things you should be alright with 1440p

The corsair oneis PCIe gen 4 so its faster, so yeah its better, but if the price difference is big the the EVO is also a high end PCIe 3 SSD and you probably wont notice the difference

    from msi website:
WHO SHOULD UPGRADE TO THE X570 PLATFORM?
Some professionals may need even more power and extensibility than what the B550 platform can offer. For such professionals, MSI’s X570 motherboards are the ideal choice. If any of the following apply to you, the X570 platform is a better choice: You use more than 4 USB 3.1 devices You use more than 6 SATA devices You use more than 3 Gen 4 M.2 SSDs

The price is about the same and the Corsair MP600 has PCIe 4.0 and it's faster.
Usually you won't notice the speed difference even if you compare it to a SATA SSD but since it is faster and PCIe 4.0 for the same price, I would pick the corsair one.

The corair one comes with a heatsink and you should consider that to make sure it fits with your motherboard.

Ohh I have one, I got a prebuilt on Christmas counting a few years back and we replaced it with a new one like one day later due to mobo temp saying 124°C but the new one had the same problem so I concluded the mobo just doesn't have a sensor
