I may be wrong, but I believe it is because your graphics card is having to render twice as many pixels to accommodate for both monitors. Because of this the FPS getting cut in half is completely normal and expected!

Judging by the message you may need to reinstall windows, but use that as a last resort. Im sure some other, more knowledgeable members of this forum will be able to assist, but yeah, you may need to do a reinstall

I wouldn't have a use for 4TB of storage, so i would prefer my primary games to be on the ssd and the non primary on the hdd. I never have many games installed at once anyway!
