  1. Chiaki4Deck is an amazing piece of software.

Got myself a PS5 slim disc on sale for 449 and my Steam Deck is basically a PlayStation Portal.

  2. Very interesting. Thank you. I have been eying this for a while now and have a very similar system, although, I am using a 3600. I honestly don't know if this is hotter or not, but I will most likely use a bigger cooler anyways. My plan is to be able to carry this in a big "Bundeswehr" backpack with my other peripherals and some clothes for a weekend. My friends and I have started to meet with PCs again in our mid 30s and I can now take the train for free due to my job. My old case is small...ish, but too big for the backpack.
  3. Hey there. I know absolutely nothing about this stuff, so please bear with me. I just tried the https://usevia.app/ online version of via and accidentally changed some stuff. I was wondering if there is a way to reset what is in that app. I tried resetting the keyboard itself and deleted my browser history including cookies etc over the last few hours. However, everytime I load up the via app again, it just shows the "Hue+" on all those keys. I also tried a different browser so...I guess something was changed, but what? I never saved anything. Any idea? Everything is still working, but I feel like this will cause some confusion in the future....maybe...
  4. I have a Noctua NH-U12 in that case, which is a tight fit, but it works. You just have to remove the side bracket that is meant for extra fans/rad/storage. And please get an itx motherboard in this case. The IM1 supports mATX, but it might prevent you from installing fans in the bottom or plugging some stuff into the bottom of your board. For me, it was the audio connector that wouldn't fit with fans in the bottom. I do recommend the Sama/Intertek IM1 though. It is quite cheap, easy to build in and sturdy on the outside.
  5. I hate that Nvidia is screwing us with their naming for the 3050, but I am looking forward to a (possibly) affordable 70w GPU.

It all comes down to price/performance and please make it an SE version or whatever.

This is great, because it could be similar to an RTX A2000, but cheaper.

  6. Installed Ultrastar for Linux on the Steam Deck: doesn't work.

Installed Ultrastar for windows on my main machine, copied it over to the Steam Deck, added to Steam, "applied" Proton: works.

    Wtf? 😂

  7. I have an Intertek IM1 Pocket. It is smaller than your suggested case and supports about the same stuff. You can check my signature to see what I have in the case. Only thing to mention is that it is technically an mATX case, but using such a motherboard prevents the mounting of fans at the bottom when using all connectors down there (like audio).
  8. I doubt they will ever be that nice to us. To be honest, I couldn't care less about Demon's Souls, but Bloodborne woud be pretty great. And I just paid 8 bucks for a used copy and got a used PS4 just for that. After my playthrough, I will just give it back.
  9. Is Bloodborne on the PS4 playable? 😉

I man in an enjoyable way...

Read so much about it that it makes me feel like I should get a ps5. 😂

  10. A BigBig Won 100pro to connect my dualsense to any console I like. This is actually very handy to have and was cheaper (17€) than buying a new ps4 controller (50€), since I already had the dualsense. Got a used ps4 to finally play Bloodborne, but it came without a controller.
  11. I got it connected to some pretty good ELAC speakers and just got done watching tv for an hour and it is actually pretty darn nice.
  12. I got myself a tiny amp for the living room to hide it in our small media console. Is it the greatest sound ever? No. Does it sound pretty good, especially for 46bucks? Very much so. My old and large amp from the 90s still has more detail and will remain as my home theater amp in my man cave, but the misses wants less stuff in our living room and this totally works. Bluetooth works really well, sound is quite good actually and despite it only providing roughly 50watts to each speaker due to the power supply being too weak it gets loud enough for my taste. Fosi kinda (really only kinda) screws its customers here, however, it does say so on the product page on amazon so I guess that is ok, especially considering the price. You do have to read through that though and I didn't. I only checked the actual specs of the AMP itself. Oh well, I will keep it in this configuration for now, since that is more than enough to watch some tv and listen to a bit of music. All in all, can absolutely recommend for about 50€. Get yourself some decent speakers for another 50 (people really throw old speakers out for cheap, despite amazing quality )and you have pretty great audio.
  13. Anyone any luck with CS2 on the Deck?

  14. Now I am just hoping for better optimiziation for the Deck.
  15. I have no idea what happened, but I fired CS2 up again and now it is hovering around 200 fps.... WHY???? I changed nothing. I only checked IF there were any settings not set to performance, but they were. Whatever the case may be, it works for me now.
  16. Obviously they are using the highest end CPU they can find. I wish there was some kind of cpu benchmark for the game, but I only found a comparison between the 5800x3d and the 7700x. I guess it just isn't very well optimized at the moment, but we will see.
  17. Thank you. The numbers are interesting, but they tested at higher settings (very high preset) than me and their minimum is way higher than mine...
  18. I have just been trying bot matches to figure out settings and performance, but I feel like my performance numbers are very low for CS2. I never reach 144hz, more like 120 tops, and often drop to 60-70 and sometimes even into the 50s. I have seen people testing this game and their numbers are higher, so I am wondering what I might be doing wrong. settings are: fullscreen 1440p 144hz player contrast on v-sync off 2xmsaa shadows low 4x AA shader low particle low AO off HDR on FSR off PC specs in my sig, but it is basically an R5 3600 @ 4.2Ghz and an RX6700, drivers are updated.
  19. It is the German layout. Good old ISO-DE and I added that info to the post now I bought my K6 for 67€ and the V1 for 84€. Both ISO-DE, but if you go bargain hunting it is possible. K6 was from Alternate open-box and V1 from Candykeys on sale. US layouts do have the advantage of having better availability for keycaps down the line though!
  20. I got the red switches and I love them. I mostly game on this keyboard, so it is fine. But yeah, super soft. It is on sale at candykeys atm, so grab one and sell your US version if you want.
  21. ISO -DE (German) Keychron V1 and a Keychron Aviator Cable.
  22. I was very sceptical on buying a Keychron V1 after having had the K6 for quite some time, but it defintely feels much better. One downside is the lacking wireless option, but that hasn't been super reliable when gaming anyways.
Additionaly, I only paid 84EUR for the V1 new, which is a steal imo.

  23. Keychron V1 incoming

This is my second Keychron keyboard. Already have a K6 and I still want that as my Laptop keyboard and for portability, but the V1 will be my primary gaming keyboard now.
