  1. I have usb 3.0 on the IO so i should be fine without it
  2. Well thats good, thanks for giving me your opinion/diagnostic on my issue.
  3. If it turns out to be fine is it possible that my Mother board is dead or?
  4. Well looking at the pins they are straight so it may
  5. Wont be able to test until gpu comes in like next week
  6. Ill send you a quick pic of it
  7. See my usb 3.0 cable was stuck in the socket and I pulled the cap off the cable it’s self (it shows the whole pin) and it also pulled off the plastic border for the usb cable from the motherboard. Does this mean that MB is dead? specs CPU R7 3700x MB Asus B550-A CPU Cooler NZXT x53 RAM GSkill Neo 16gb PSU 1000W RMx Corsair GPU (Coming Soon) 3080 Msi Ventus
  8. Thats good I thought it would be something more severe.
  9. So it would only be because i don’t have a gpu. I booted it bc i don’t have a gpu atm and i wanted to see if anything would be damaged
  10. Hey, I just have just built a new system and I have watched the q-led every time I powered on my pc. I have noticed that my VGA light stayed on and the boot light was yellow. I don’t know if the colours mean anything, however I have a Asus b550-a motherboard a ryzen 3700x and no gpu at the moment. Would having no gpu cause the VGA light to stay on and would it also be the reason why the boot light is on? Another question on boot would the aio pump make noise? Mine is not making noise.
  11. Hey, I’ve been planing on building a pc for sometime now and I have finally enough to buy one. However I’ve always had an issue, in my mind I thought that the air cooler that I have chosen may not have enough clearance for my 32gb (4x8 or 2x16) of ram. Questions Question 1: Will there be enough clearance for my two options for ram Question 2: Should I buy the 4x8 or the 2x16 Specs CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x Cooler: Cooler Master 212 RGB Black Edition Air Cooler Ram Options: G.Skill Trydent Neo (2x16) or G.Skill Trydent RGB (4x8) Motherboard: B550 Gigabyte Gaming X GPU: MSI Gaming X RTX 2070 Super Case: Corsair 465x WHITE
  12. Near the end, you said that you would “expect the price to jump” and before that you said that I thought the prices would stay the same. But as it turns out that I thought that the prices of old gen would drop and the newer 3000 series and gen 4 would be more expensive. In other words 2000 series and gen 3 would be good to buy in a more minimalistic budget since prices would be put on sale so people would see the sale sign and would be more attracted to it. Sry for replying 2 hours later I had to get som sleep since it was 4:32 am. If I don’t make sense I apologize, I’m mediocre when it comes to CPUs and GPUs knowledge.
  13. True, but it only to have an idea of what type of gpu and cpu I should get for that price point. Well at this point of time. But I am also now considering the new line on gpus and cpus but they may require me to spend more money than I want it would like to.
  14. Well since Nivida are releasing their 3000 series and AMD are releasing their 4th gen wouldn’t their prices be less reasonable unlike the 2000 series and 3rd gen since they are the most recent technology or “the better technology” that Nivida and AMD are releasing.
  15. I’m not really up to date of what’s is going on with Nivida prices when that happens does that mean prices will drop?? Additionally I will only get enough money until Christmas and until I am able to work.
  16. Budget (including currency): $2000 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft Extreme Shaders, Rainbow Six Siege, No Mans Sky, TF2 and more video and imagery software. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc: I am highly considering and wanting at minimum and RTX 2070 super in this build and at least a 6 core processor like the 3600 or the 3600x. I would also prefer going AMD for the processor and also If possible a AIO cooler. If anyone can send me a reply of a parts list that would be greatly appreciate and I would love to get building my new and improved pc. Btw just for back story I am moving from a laptop because all I get is FPS lag and display stutters and how terrible FPS I’ve been lately getting.
  17. I am planing on getting someone to build me a pc and I was wondering if I could get suggestions, so that my games won’t run below 60fps. Currently my budget is $2,000 CAD/ $1540.60 US/ €1374.20, and I’ll be playing GTA with many mods, R6S (want at least 120fps), Garry’s Mod and other high end games.
