  1. Depends what you want to use it for i.e. browsing the net, school /office work then yes, but for gaming I don't think you would be able to do much with it.
  2. Hi So basically I been sitting on some PC upgrading parts for a few years (i5 ivy bridge processor and 16gb ram), until recently when i finally got around to start upgrading, I ran into some trouble when I swapped out the current CPU (i3 2100) for an i5 3550, realizing it was not compatible (constant beeping), although my motherboard (DH61WW) supports ivy bridge, I learnt I needed to upgrade the bios. Unfortunately intel removed all bios updates few months ago and other related utilities, which puts me in a predicament. I managed to get the required Bios updates, from a third party site, which I know is not the best choice, when I tried updating the bios with the 'F7 Flash update' method, even though the motherboard supports this method and is 'enabled' in the bios setting, the bios version itself does not support it [see attachment]. so now i'm stuck, I've tried searching the web, the closest I got for useful information, is I need to make a Bootable USB, with the bios files (which I got) but I believe I need additional file or two i.e IFLASH.EXE/ IFLASH2.EXE, which I cannot get hold of. If anyone could point me to the right direction it would appreciate it.. since I am clueless. My plan was to upgrade this PC so I use it for gaming for a year or two by paring it with either GTX 970/ GTX 1650 Super (got a huge backlog of games) which this PC was adequate for... until an eventual new PC upgrade.. MY SPECS/ Summary --- CPU i3 2100 (want to upgrade to I5 3550 RAM 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz (Upgrading to 16gb DDR3 1600Mhz) Motherboard: Intel DH61WW Bios: currently: 0020 [see attachment].
