With all due respect, nobody can accurately assess your particular situation with such vague replies. At best, it would be a baseless assumption. The more specifics, the better. You couldn't even be bothered to specify your use case. Dell/AW will always offer the best customer service, warranty coverage, and quality control. The latter panel has terrible QC/failure rates.

it'd probably be alot more helpful if u just outright said the budget and specs that you are looking for.

instead i had to look up both models just to see what it is.

For that price range, 1440p uw,  the dell's about the best option.

I have edited my post again sorry. But not really sure what i want in terms of specs. But i mostly play games and watch content also do productivity every so often.

Do you have a limited budget? Also, if you're not in a hurry, I would advise you to at least wait a couple of months till CES. Alienware will have a successor to their flagship AW3423DW, and ASUS will have an entire new line-up of QD-OLEDs at 4k and standard UW 3440x1440, all boasting 200Hz+ refresh rates.

Just my two cents. I would go for the former, with regards to your question (superior warranty and QC)

Yes i have a limited budget. The above also says the price range as in price around those two displays. It looks like the Alienware one will probably be out of my price range.

  4. Hi.
I have looked at both the Dell S3422DWG and the ASUS VG34VQL1B.
Not sure which one to choose. If anyone have other suggestions/recommendations around the price of 500 euro in Europe.
There is not really any specific specs i'm looking at. Other then i'm not looking for OLED probably also out of the price range. I mostly play casual games and watch content also do productivity every so often.

Yeah if your motherboard has a heat spreader don't get the heatsink version, your wasting money. What do you mean by 'im not sure if the 2tb version is double sided or not'?

Some m.2 NVMe ssds have chips on both sides.

  6. Hi.
I am getting the Kingston FURY Renegade 2TB i wonder if i should spend a little more to get the heatsink. Version or should i just get the normal version i do have a head spreader on my motherboard. And i am not sure if the 2tb version is dual-sided or not.

  7. Hi. Is it possible to move windows onto another drive. Or is it just better to do a clean windows install. The only reason i don't really wanna do that is so i don't have to change all the Window's settings. And doing the regedit stuff again.

I have no idea if it's a good idea to do. That's also why i am asking.

Yes, it should be on the motherboard website.

The only real thing you need to check is what version you need to update the BIOS to in order to get support. All B550 boards have support for all Ryzen 5000 series processors, it just depends on having the right BIOS version.

So if i update the bios to the newest it should work. ?

  9. Hi. I'm looking to upgrade from my Ryzen 5 3600. In the near future probably in June or July. If i am going to stay on the AM4 platform.
Currently have a Asus strix B550 Motherboard. With 32gb of 3200mhz ram.

I do mostly gaming but do some productive stuff like blender and stuff some times.
    Budget is currently unknown.

Or is it even really worth upgrading currently?. Or should i just wait until the end of the year or something to see what comes. ?

Eh. The shift is worth the extra $10 or whatever. PCIE5, Quieter fan, ATX 3.0 support, Connectors on the back instead of the side.... It's the best psu in the world right now all things considered IMO

You mean on the side instead of the back. ?

  11. Hi.
So i bought the RM850e yesterday and got it today. And i installed it and then i turn it on. And it makes weird clank like noise. And fan is on 100% after like 1 min. I wouldn't really recommend it. So i am gonna send it back and thought about maybe. Getting the RM850x (2021) or the shift version. What would be best with or without swift. Swift has ATX 3.0 thingy and PCI-e 5.0 ready. And the normal RMx does not. So idk what i should get one is been tested for years and one is new.
    The Swift 20Euros/22Dollars more.

  12. Hi.
So i have both looked at the Corsair RMx and RMe series of power supplies. RMx is about 45 euro more expensive then the RMe series. Is it worth spending more to get the RMx or is the RMe okay. ?
It also seems like the RMe series is newer but also cheaper. And the RMe series has some newer features like the new power connecter (12VHPWR). But not sure if i am ever gonna use that.
