A prayer sent up to the gods of techedness, I own a windows surface 3, and I wish I had seen Linus Rex's review first, but alas, I did not. My co worker gave me His 100% identical Surface, with a busted screen. So I open it up, and all the components are wrapped in that silver stuff, and read about how hard it was going to be to "finish" taking out the old surface and adding a new one. So, that wasn't gonna happen, so Im left with all these components, and I would like to know if I can use anything Inside the other Surface? I want to make a "super surface", originally the idea was to make it a 2 sided touch screen double surface, velcroed together or something, but I saw how hard the screen was to fix, I I felt making an animal sacrifice to the tech gods would be a good idea first. So according to LTT scripture (old testament) I set fire to a fire wire PCI card and an old corded ps2 mouse. Sorry, for the lame sacrifice , we are still poor in the Appalachian mountains of Tennessee, , but not all as stupid as our governor. I'd like to do something with this before our governor makes me go back to work risking my families life serving the tourists who come to see Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, and maybe the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. First of All, I have no idea what I am doing. That said, I used what I had available, and put together a collection of parts to build a PC. In fact, when I finished, I had 2X NVMe m,2, 2X SSD, and various sizes of hard drives great and small. So: In my B450/Ryzen7/GTX10606GBDDR5/32GBRAM setup, how would be the best way to utilize the drives? Would it be different for VR? For Example: Should I RAID the 2 NVME's, use 1 of the SSDs for WIN10, Another for Games?
