Start by updating the BIOS to the latest version, these UEFI bugs are more often than not fixed with a BIOS update.

having a little look i think the SATA ports will be fine, my GPU sits over an inch away from my motherboard.

and looking at it the SATA ports sit out around the same height/width as the PCIE slot, and you often get a few extra mm where the GPU plugs in,

im 99% sure you will be fine

Ryzen APUs are a Gen behind nonAPU series,..the 2200G will likely MAX at 3.9Ghz possibly 4Ghz like Ryzen1 does.
3rd Gen APUs get UPTO 4.2Ghz like the Ryzen 2nd Gen does.

Be happy with 3.8Ghz, and aim for 3.9-4Ghz

idwt got a reaction from PositiveRaisin2 in how do I add more sata hard drives?
i know its a pointless solution as you can use a SATA expansion card, but they actually make an adapter so you can plug any old 2.5 or 3.5" HDD into a USB, and it supplies the power and the signal, ive supplied a link below so you can get the idea

my question is why are you using the bottom PCIE?

but aside from that, i have my radiator on the outside, and the fans inside using a pull config and i have no problems, you can see on my profile pic. i feel like it comes down to the case and personal preferance

If you don't mind paying 10 pounds over your budget, I would go for an EVGA power supply, or Corsair. The one I found is 550 W Bronze and fully modular.

I don't think they have always been like this, and your theory pretty much lines up with mine, if i remember correctly the last time i applied thermal paste it didn't even really do anything for the temperatures. So this has been addressed before, so the only other thing I can think of is that the fluids have evaporated.

im aware it is Dell  its just that if you are to buy a rig from them it can be pretty expensive, and price to performance is very scuffed

    Alienware is Dell

Will depend on the GPU you select and its form factor on whether it will fit inside this custom case that typically comes with Alienwares.

Just to be sure, since Link isn't supported for years now, are these temps the same in other programs like HWMonitor?

And if it was fine then, but not fine now (and you are running an AIO?) then either the thermal paste has dried up and turned to dust, or the AIO has somehow evaporated fluids, or the pump no longer works on the AIO.  Basically can only be those three things (I cant see how after 3-4 years it could be a mount pressure issue unless you have had these temps all along)

    What is your performance target?

Even the lowly Ryzen 3 2200G has good performance in that game, but it depends on the scale of the city and what you're running at.

It's been a little while since I've reapplied thermal paste, but i also can't seem to find my old thermal paste tube. =/ The PC was build by me and it's running around 3-4 years now, and no I don't think temps have always been like this but they have been for some time.

Hello, I posted a while back about my PC freezing but the audio kept on playing and the cursor or keyboard wouldn't work just a general freeze I guess. I had an older PC lying around so I used the gpu from that and still the same problem, I then changed the ram and psu and I've still got the same problem. It's just a random occurrence and the PC isn't even working hard when it happens. It's possible the other parts are bad but unlikely. The only part atm that remains the same is the Samsung ssd but id be surprised if it was that. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this problem? Thanks for the help.
