Acer KG1 KG271UA seems like a good option a tiny over budget, and lack of USB Hub (could always get one that goes into your PC), but - 27 inch - 2560 x 1440 - 144Hz - 1ms response time - 100x100 vesa mount - 2 year warranty - Freesync and IMO looks pretty cool -
not able to completely pinpoint a problem, but check drivers, it could also be a RAM issue, if you have 2 or more sticks of ram, try using just one of the sticks, if that doesnt work try using just the other stick

my bad, not sure why i had the idea in my head that the i5-10400 was the 3600 competitor... not too clued up on the 10 series

only 500gb storage? and taking away some of the CPU budget doesnt seem like a great idea considering apart from GTA they're wanting to play mainly CPU intensive games? hmm

Maybe a silly question, is your display cable definetly plugged into your GPU? and not your motherboard Display cable should be connected to one of these ports (green box) -

White LED means VGA issue from the manual -
off-topic question, just curious as to where you live for price per kWH is 30¢? here in the UK average is 14.3p, so around 15-16¢

are you using a GPU? as the 2700x doesnt have an IGPU -
My seagate Barracude 1TB recently failed. It came in a pre-built (dont worry, i know what your thinking) It was working the night before, bot upon boot i was prompted to install proper boot media, i re-installed windows on a spare hard drive. The hard drive isnt coming up anywhere now, not in Disk Manager, DiskPart, or even BIOS. Ran the serial number and turned out warranty ran out January 2014, so not suprised the drive has failed, but i was wondering if anyone had any clue what the issue is, and how easily recoverable it would be. The drive is powering on and it is making a slight whir/scream sound on start-up, but cant remember if that's normal. I have tried: Unplugging the drive Different SATA Port Different SATA Cable
