  1. I'd just plug in both, you can do either. If you think just using one would make your life, or cable managment that much better, then I mean, sure, go for it.
  2. Budget? Do you mean japanese keycaps or japanese period? I'd probably get keycaps aftermarket, getting something that has stock japanese keycaps is going to be quite a bit more expensive, and a much harder to find.
  3. FSP: They're a brand. Model>Brand. Don't know what else to say The specific model: From what I've seen it doesn't look very great. I'd keep looking.
  4. Until they release I'd *still* recommend the 10400f. Hyper212 evo: The 11400 unless something changed should come with a stock cooler (provided you want to use it), and the 212 isn't a very good cpu cooler, and it's not worth $30. B460-A pro: Just get a b560-hdv, it allows for ram speeds up to 3200mhz stock. Ram: Fine, I'd upgrade to 3200mhz cl15/16 NVME: No dram cache, but it's pretty fine Case: Decent, but would recommend the cougar mx-330g air if you don't care about aesthetics, and the metallic gear neo air if you're fine with blue fans Power supply: Haven't seen that unit much in particular, doesn't look great. My recommendation at 1k: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i5-10400F 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor $148.90 @ Walmart Motherboard ASRock B560M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard $75.00 Memory OLOy 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $71.99 @ Newegg Storage Mushkin Enhanced Pilot-E 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $64.98 @ Amazon Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Founders Edition Video Card $500.00 Case Cougar MX330-G Air ATX Mid Tower Case $56.98 @ Newegg Power Supply Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply $89.99 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1007.84 Generated by PCPartPicker 2021-03-18 19:02 EDT-0400 Had to sacrifice the storage for the 3070. Your friend can just add more if needed. If the cougar case had free shipping, which it sometimes does, it'd be almost exactly 1k. Edit: Didn't read that fully, but bestbuy does weekly-ish drops of ampere cards which are usually pretty predictable, if you properly prepare you can get a gpu pretty easily. Still wouldn't recommend the non-f, but that's up to you.
  5. What will you be using for? Is the monitor, mouse, and keyboard included in your budget? That's a $1850 list with peripherals. Here's a list for gaming, at a $1500 for ONLY the pc: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WKxT7X
  6. How you mount the aio shouldn't really affect temperatures, unless you maybe have a lot of air in your aio and do a bottom mount. Yeah, a 3700x (not overclocked?) at 80c with a 360mm... that's pretty bad.
  7. Extra... $50? What's your region? The 5800 isn't a great cpu (bad value, runs hot, I'd get a 5600x or 5900x since both are better value). It won't perform much better, It's just overall a better design that isn't an asetek ripoff.
  8. What cpu are you going to upgrade to? How much is it on amazon? Around $100? I'd probably recommend a deepcool castle ex/rgb aio, see if you like those.
  9. The cooler is really overpriced, even for a 360mm aio, but a 360mm might actually be required in that sort of case to get decent temps, kek. No real point in getting another cooler unless you can get a refund on this one. I'd totally recommend switching to a 4000d if you're comfortable with that. Also, If you are to switch I'd get a 5600x or 5900x, the 5800 runs really hot for what it is, and is a pretty bad value (5600x is $300 for 6c/12t, 5800x is $449 for 8c/16t, 5900x is $549 for 12c/24t. Gaming performance is pretty similar across the board, but 5900x>5800x>5600x generally).
  10. I'm not an expert in this field, but I'd just try to RMA it, it doesn't sound like you can do very much.
  11. Iirc it Should work fine, but why do you want that aio for that cpu? The 3600 is fine by itself, the 240r isn't a very good aio and you wouldn't need it for that cpu.
  12. Can't find where it shows how much power it can push, it just says it can go from 1-600ohms. Not super confident in it, not at least for the claims it makes at the price, with the lack of details.
  13. 1. Depends on your components, Usually it's going to be a resounding Yes. The h710 is a microwave, the 4000d is an excellent airflow case. 2. What's your CPU? As a cooler it's pretty overpriced and I wouldn't get it unless I had a really high-end CPU and tons of money to blow. 3. Uh, sure. 4. Depends on your CPU. I'd recommend a scythe FUMA 2 for most cpus if you're not overclocking (at least very much).
  14. Have you shut down or restarted recently? That could solve it. At least for me, If I don't shut down or restart every few days, my pc starts using far more ram than I'd expect. Also you're using about 2gb on idle which isn't bad, seems pretty normal. For example, I literally just restarted after making this post. I was on ~56% ram usage (from 32gb) before shutting down, and about at 30% after restarting and re-opening all of my tabs.
  15. pffft you think so little of new members? Jk, Hopefully they didn't forget that. Also, @aidanttIirc there's supposed to be two cables coming off from it, one would be for the lighting, the other would be for the fan. Both are plugged in correctly? Could be a bad unit and you could contact AMD.
  16. For cheap amps that can power basically anything, Schitt's magni and JBL's atom are the standard. There are others of course, but the two mentioned are the amps that are generally recommended the most.
  17. Bottom mounting an AIO is always a bad idea unless the pump isn't in the waterblock. Why? Well the waterblock is the highest point of the loop. Air is less dense than the coolant, so it'll rise. If the air gets there it'll eventually get to the point where the pump is exposed to the air, and that'll make short work of your pump. There's going to be air in the loop, and over time more's going to get in as the coolant evaporates and some of it eventually gets out. The Radiator is designed to handle air bubbles. The pump usually isn't. A rad with fans on both sides may or may not help thermals, it probably will but don't expect the difference to be night-and-day. It'll work fine, however, provided you don't mess it up. Also, different fans as long as long as the blades aren't super different should be just fine.
  18. It'll depend on each headphone, most of the mentioned above probably will want at least an amp, but something like a schitt magni 3 or heresay for $100 should be fine. You might like the Beyerdynamic Tygr's for your use case.
  19. I never said It couldn't run say, a 5950x. It can probably run, and even overclock on it, but not very well.
  20. Any reasons why you'd would go with other S tier boards over the b550 aorus master? IO? Aesthetics? Slightly better power delivery? Better ram overclocking? Connectors? Gimmicks?
  21. Probably a b550-a pro from MSI, It'll depend on your specific situation.
  22. For the price it's not a very good board. You can overclock with it and the VRMs *probably* wont hit TJMax. Also you're using a 5600x, which isn't a very power-hungry or demanding chip. I'd expect a board of that price to sustain a cpu like that. Also, your overclock will depend on your silicon, but it looks like you're just using PBO. That doesn't make it a good board, though.
  23. B550 aorus master is an overkill board. It's really good, but still overkill. You going to be overclocking? If not, I'd probably go for Something like a b550-A pro.
  24. Uh...? I don't really know what you're saying, but AMD's next generation processors will be on a new socket, which will require a new motherboard.
  25. I'm saying it's a bad value, it's not a good board for overclocking. A good value board would be the b550-a pro, if you're not overclocking I'd recommend that. A better board for around the price is the x570 tomahawk.
