  1. Ye it seems there´s no way to do it that way on my system. This is my full system: https://support.hp.com/nl-nl/document/c05838567
  2. Hey guys, I just got new 4x8gb modules in my system. They are advertised to reach 3200mhz, (link to modules: https://www.megekko.nl/product/0/1741206/G-Skill-DDR4-Sniper-X-4x8GB-3200MHz-F4-3200C16Q-32GSXWB?r=tweakers.net&utm_source=tweakers.net&utm_medium=cpc) When I installed the modules they were set back to 2133mhz. In my systems manual it says it is able to perform RAM modules till 2400ghz, So I was looking for a way to upgrade this. I installed Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, since it seems the only way to overclock my systems components.. I succesfully upgraded the 2133mhz to 2400mhz, however it seems possible to overclock them to 3100mhz. My question is mainly, will this potentially harm any of my systems compenents when I do this? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hey guys, So I just got new RAM modules to upgrade my 16gb RAM to 32gb. I thought I installed them correctly, however my pc doesn't boot anymore and signals 3 long beeps followed by 2 short beeps. I feel like installed my RAM modules correctly . I've already tried to put only the old one in but doesn't work anymore either. Does anyone know what step to take? Thanks in advance! 4. Bedankt! this actually saved me some money haha. I will look into it. mm interesting. did not know that. attached a picture of the motherboard. allright, thanks for the help. ill start looking for around the current speed. kind of disappointing this system doesn't support any higher, hope it will still be a good boost for my editing workflow with. allright, thanks. good to know I won't have to dive in the overclocking process if it's not really there anyways.
  5. Thanks, Ah right, so my next question would be if it would be wiser for me to buy for example 2400mhz or 3200mhz, or go for the 3600mhz and try to tweak?
  6. Thanks, It got 2 sticks of 8gb right now. It supports up to 4x8 for 32gb. 2x16 won't work, if i'm correct. Thanks, it has 4 slots for DDR4.
  7. Thanks for your answer! It is prebuilt, it has an overclock option in the command center, but not sure if it would work. This is a link to the system: https://support.hp.com/za-en/document/c05835117 I don't know if it's possible to see from this if it will.
  8. Hey guys, I do a lot of video editing, so I want to upgrade my RAM of 16gb to 32gb. I found something that could work with my pc, however I´m not sure if it´s able to use its full capacity. In the attachment a picture of my system that also says DDR4-2400 The product I want to install however has 3600mhz. Does the picture of my system tell me there´s no way I can use the full 3600mhz, or is there someway I can overclock so I actually can. Thanks in advance!
