  1. I discovered this problem when trying to talk to someone on discord, all the E's kept turning into >'s. So I thought it was a good idea to completely reboot my rig, but it didng change anything. It only made things worse as I can now not enter my password as it contains an E. (I know not the most thought of decision). Ive already tried to enter every key on my keyboard but none seem to be Q or E.
  2. If you are only gonna build a good pc after college then I should wait, prices are gonna drop when the Nvidea's 3000 series are coming out (june 2020). I suggest to get at least a GTX 1660.
  3. I am just alergic to throwing old hardware away :l, and no one will buy it from me because its quite outdated.
  4. I read online that ram does effect the processing speed for 3d stuff doe. And also if you're into gaming a 1050ti is worth it.
  5. But the real question: Is a 1660 really worth the upgrade? even if I buy a 144hz monitor.
  6. A gt1030 will do a good job for you, and also how much ram is in your system?
  7. Ah I just found out my current monitor has 5ms response time and 77hz rfr, New monitor it is.
  8. 1080P And I think 77hz but I am looking for a new monitor too. On the other side Ive heard that you should go to a higher refresh rate because it will drive you crazy when you play on a 60hz rfr monitor after using a 144hz rfr monitor.
  9. If you really want to do 3D stuff I'm afraid you need at least a $100+ card tho. You can go cheaper but the risk of breaking it again is there.
  10. Currently running a 1050ti 4gb, wondering if upgrading to a GTX1660 6GB will do me any good. Only downside to this GPU is that GTA5 and assasins creed odyssey on high settings are limited to 30-70 fps.
  11. Just make sure you have at least a quad core processor with a 3.3Ghz clock speed. You will be totally fine using a GTX650.
  12. I feel like a gpu upgrade is kinda overpowered for the games I play rn (gta5, overwatch, rainbow six siege, rocket league, assasins creed odyssey) only gta5 and assasins creed odyssey run below 100fps.
  13. Can I run a 1060/1070 with my 450watt psu? the max pin connector is 6...
  14. So you're saying that even if my motherboard is really old windows will just handle the driver issue?
  15. Aah I tought DDR3 and DDR4 had a big difference for performance, turns out it only effects the clockspeed. I'll just stick with a case and power supply upgrade. I added a picture of my prebuilt rig (only GPU is new and I changed ram recently) I know the cable management is a nightmare but I hope you can tell how old my motherboard is.
