They don't need a static IP so long as they can find out what their current IP address is before each gaming session and tell their friend, or use a dynamic DNS service.

Which makes me wonder now, are they actually telling their friend to connect to their public WAN IP address or their LAN one?

No the router itself, as if you are behind CG-NAT then that site will still show the public IP your ISP is routing you through, its not necessarily what your router is being assigned.

I'd be tempted to install something like a web server on your PC and port forward to that too, see if your friend can access that to test if the port forwarding is working or not.  Its pretty hard to be sure with games.

They won't roll backwards in design. That's not something Apple would ever do. And IMO that isn't very inspiring
and b, it's pretty clear from all the benchmarks and real world tests that the i9 is faster than i7 and Apple is providing you with an option to choose. Don't want i9, go ahead, get the i7 and save a few bucks in the process
So what should we do here? Blame Intel for making shitty processors? You need performance, we have to use HQ processors. But no one likes to carry around a tank also. Apple has the best of both, atleast (Im taking this number out of my ass) 75-80% performance of the HQ processors in a thin and light.
I don't get what point you are trying to make here. One hand you say Apple shouldn't include i9, when clearly it has a performance advantage over i7. Sure, it does run toasty, but that's only in sustained workload and that's what is possible with today's tech. Apple could make a bigger chassis design that doesn't throttle at all, but no one likes big chunky laptops with shitty batteries. They aren't going to make the new MBP slightly thicker as it would seem like a roll back in Apple's design philosophy and not have a seperate design SKU for the i9 version

And it costs 3K. Don't try to win an argument by bringing up the 7K price tag when clearly you can get the same performance laptop with 2TB storage for 3K

    We did

I find this whole race to be thinner pretty ridiculous. In exchange for that, we had keyboards that became useless after just a few specks of dust (that needed a membrane to help 2 years after it was introduced) and CPUs that ran too hot.

Just make it 1". I doubt many would even notice the difference.

I mean they *did* fix the VRM stability issues in software. They just did it by limiting the hardware below the point where it got unstable >.>

So they fixed a problem by introducing another smaller problem.

I forgot to put in there that I have a 1TB external drive, and the reason for the 144hz monitor is I play CSGO, so to take advantage of the 300 fps I opted for the 144hz.

Interesting. Okay thanks for the starting point guys. I think we are a few months away from actual implementation.

Any specific outlet suggestion (totally out of my element here) or does it literally not matter at all?

100% agree. If I was in your place, I'd go with them. There's even some cash left over, so you can even add a DAC. Maybe something like FiiO E10k?

Loliplol got a reaction from Morgan MLGman in New budget daily driver? - Roccat Syva Review
Today I decided to get myself  new earphones, and I chose Roccat Syva not knowing what I’m getting into, but since I know Roccat is a well established brand, I thought I can’t go wrong with these. And I didn’t.
I have a long history of buying new headphones and always looking for new and better ones. Since my focus is on computer headphones which can be seen in the background, I didn’t pay much  attention to my earphones which I use very often. Well, since my pair is now three years old, I needed an upgrade.

I was amazed at the sound quality when I used them the first time, well compared to my previous earphones which are Beats in association with Monster, these are heaven. Basses are clear and not distorted, mid tones are decent and the high tones are crisp. On the box it says things such as “Top class audio quality” and “Ultra low in weight and premium comfort”, while I usually don’t trust these facts and take away about 50% of what they promise, Roccat is not lying. The lightweight and great sound quality is all I want, and these will be my daily driver from now on.

The cable is okay, it has a cool looking desing on it. It’s a ribbon cable and Roccat promisses it’s tangle-proof, and they really are tangle-proof. Well, compared to the Beats’ silicon cable which was so tangled.

Wearing these is quite comfy, they fit well in my ear and they come with many ear tips which are different sizes. Wearing them while riding my bike is also fine, they don’t fall out as often as my previous pair. Overall, a decent pair of earphones for the price they sell, which is around 139.24 kn ($20.). They are marketed as in-ear gaming headset, but just because they are gaming doesn’t mean they have to be used only for that. I’m happy with these as my daily driver for music listening and a podcast here and there.

No keyboard at all, design a helmet that types what you think. Do some real technical break though... can you imagine just thinkig about moving forward and strafing to the right to kill an enemy and your pc does it without you pressing any keys? Gaming by just looking at the screen... being able to use a full pc with out hands, typing school papers just by thinking your paper? That i would pay for
Edit: games could be made and designed to test brain recactions instead of eye-hand coordination.

Volume knob/wheel. The ones on the Corsair K series keyboards are a definite must have for me, and I'm sure that anyone else who has one would say the same.
