Stretchee's Achievements

  1. Update Verizon techs came by the house to test the internet round Feb 11th. After a certain router reset (nothing new from what we've previously done) it started working as usual. It was about 3 weeks later that the internet started to slowly shut down in the apartment again. I've gone ahead and attached a couple photos of what we see. Here's what we have done for tests: Ping test DNS resets IP Resets Equipment swaps. Plugging into the ONT While plugged in directly works, this is insufficient. The act of disconnecting the Ethernet and reattaching resets the Router, and works temporary.
  2. Hey Team, Alright, this one is a doozy. Staring last week during a stream, I got kicked off StreamLabs. After tinkering with my web browser (Chrome), I noticed that I could not open Google.com, Facebook, etc. BUT! I was able to get to others, and have limited access. With YouTube, I was able to access it, but the thumbnails were not loading. With Twitch.TV, I was not able to play the videos, but the chat still worked. Now after dealing with Verizon, who is my ISP, and changing the Router and ONT, I still have the issue. Further more, and this is where it gets interesting, I only have this issue once my roommate turns his computer on and a little time passes. The known temporary fix is to reset the router, and not have have my roommate use his computer. Which I don't think he likes. Current facts: Once this starts happening, this starts affecting other devices Happens over Wireless and LAN New router New ONT (Optical Network Terminal) Internet connection come from the street ->ONT->Router->Switch->My computer and Roommates. Been like this for about 3 months and no issues till now. Virus and Malware checks come back clean. I have a brand new build from November 2019 His build is from 2016 Please let me know if you've seen this issue, and what was done to resolve. Thanks everyone!
