The SD card did not appear in the boot menu

The boot menu only shows the bootable drivers on my system. I will now try to flash the operating system using Rufus, to confirm whether the SD card is recognized for the boot menu.

I watched a YouTube video about this and installed Linux Mint on my SD card. The installation was successful. The bootloader is installed on the same SD card. But after rebooting, the SD card did not show up in the boot menu. Can Linux be installed on a SD card and used as it is normally installed on an HDD or SSD? If can, suggest me a way to solve this problem.

I have a dell laptop with a cracked display and I used it by connecting a secondary screen. Now the laptop does not turn on until Windows. I think the BIOS shows an error on the screen and I do not see the error because the screen is cracked. Can I view the BIOS screen from a separate monitor if I remove it?

Model - 7 Plus Software Version - 14.6 (18F72) I was trying to call a friend using WhatsApp and he saw a mic problem on my phone. It is not completely silence. The volume on the mic is very low. I thought cleaning the mic or replacing the mic would solve this problem. Before that I tried a normal phone call and I saw that the mic was working well. So I think it's not a mic problem. This mic problem happens in apps like WhatsApp, Telegram including Voice Memos app. Then I fully reset phone and tried Voice Memos app without doing anything. Also a normal phone call. Problem was not solved. So it may not be a problem caused by changing the settings. How do I fix it? Is it a software bug?

I am trying to boot live Linux OS using a flash drive. I use the Rufus tool to copy the OS to the flash drive. Here is the problem. When I select 'Partition Scheme' as MBR and 'Target system' as 'BIOS or UEFI' (this cannot be changed after selecting the target system) it can boot in my computer and the laptop cannot. When I select 'Partition Scheme' as GPT and 'Target system' as 'UEFI (non CSM)' it starts on my laptop and computer cannot. Is there a way to boot the computer and laptop using one method?
