Does anyone know if you can use the vga contacts on a psu to run the 4pin contacts on the motherboard. i have bought the x299 creator that has 3x8 pins for cpu, but my old supernova 1600 psu has only 4pinx2 connectors for cpu in the back ... my guess is that all 12 + V out of psu goes on the same phase with the same frequency / direct current, so it should just be soldered a cable and run?
