UPDATE FROM WORK!!!

The bad stuff:

The array is unfortunately corrupted and the VMware ESXI gives me a "Unexpected Error" message  Even though the array was in RAID 5, it managed to get corrupted. Now even the server shows that the array is totally f'd up by blinking the server health light red

Now the good stuff: 

Some of the data is not corrupted (2,11TB) but the other 3.89TB of data is completely garbled and most files show up as, and I quote here "$%@8209034958,,,2920.PDF"

So lets say that I kinda managed to rebuild the array
