  1. That's what I was afraid of. I've barely had it 2 months but it looks like I just got unlucky. Thanks for your help.
  2. It's in 1080 now but it's super blurry now and there's horizontal pink lines across the monitor. I'm not sure I can navigate to find a DDU. It doesn't represent just how blurry it is very well but I've attached a picture from my phone. Second monitor is HDMI only and I can't detect it through either HDMI port on my GPU.
  3. New PC built 2 months ago: -I7 9700k -Asus ROG Strix 2080 Super -Gigabyte Z390 UD A week ago my PC began to occasionally restart on its own. When it turned back on the main display (Omen X 25f 1080 @240hz) would be in a much lower resolution, sometimes 1024x768, sometimes 800x600. My secondary display (Samsung 1080 @ 60hz) doesn't display anything at all. I can't change the resolution at all and it won't detect the second monitor. I updated drivers and it seemed fine for a couple days but now the problem happens more frequently. All components are brand new. Am I unlucky and have a bad GPU or could it be something else?
  4. @xAcid9 Also, that song is actually pretty catchy haha
  5. Thank you very much, I will try that next.
  6. 1. Yes, as far as I can tell V Sync is off in NCP, in game and on my monitor. 2. Nothing that I'm aware of. If I have an additional software limiting my fps it could be in something I'm unaware of though. Omen Command Center, MSI Display Kit, GeForce Experience, maybe? 3. Rebooted after everything else and no change. 4. DDU? Pretend I don't know what that means please
  7. reset 3d settings in NCP, no change as far as I can tell. Apex Still running fine and Hellblade capped at 30 fps Hellblade doesn't have settings for frame rate. Only texture quality and like settings.
  8. Asus RTX 2080 Super, i7 9700k, HP Omen X 25f (1080p 240hz), 32G DDR4 RAM Several of my games seem to be capped at 30 fps but not all. Apex Legends runs at 240 with only a few settings turned down but Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is stuck at 30 fps no matter what. A couple other games run just fine and several others seem to be capped at 30 fps also. I'm not the most PC savvy but I've read several other forums and can't find a solution.
  9. I appreciate the suggestions. Thanks for your time.
  10. Budget I've been gaming for a long time on console and I am looking to build a fairly serious PC for the first time. My aim is under $2000 USD (PC only), however I could be convinced to stretch a little beyond if convinced that it is worth it. I currently have everything I need besides a second monitor which will be in addition to my $2000 budget. Dual Monitors My goal is to run dual monitors for gaming and multitasking. Primary monitor running at 1440p 144hz and secondary monitor at 1080p 60hz. I currently use a 24" curved 1080p 60hz Samsung that will become my secondary monitor and would prefer to buy a 1440p 144hz monitor of the same same size. A curved Monitor would be preferred, but is not absolutely necessary. Aim Primary monitor will of course be used for gaming while my secondary monitor will be used for: youtube, WATCHING streams, researching games (currently playing a lot of Tarkov), and general multitasking. I play a wide variety of games: FPS, MMO, single player story driven, etc. Personal Preference Note: I have a slight preference to Intel, however I am not dead set on anything. I am mostly indifferent to RGB, but if that case has lights, having the option to make it one solid color is preferred. I appreciate any and all help and suggestions. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
