  1. All right...I will keep troubleshooting it over the weekend, and if it persists, I will RMA it on monday. Thanks
  2. Hi there, I have a brand new monitor, <2 weeks old, and today a cyan line appeared on the screen out of nowhere. to the right hand side of the screen, slightly off centre. If i disconnect it from electricity and connect it again, upon start the line is gone, but within 1 or 2 minutes of working, it is back(the line is also present when there is the no signal message, or during the monitors boot screen ). Without g-sync on the line is really thin, with g-sync on the line is a bit thicker and occasionally flickering. Any ideas as to what this is? is the screen gone? Thanks. After i leave it unplugged for a few minutes, the line goes away, but then it comes back. Prior to this i had some black screen issues with gsync on at 2k 144hz, i have a post here about it, but nobody replied. The system is also new, less than a month old. *This is the old post "Hello there, I have recently built a new pc, and also got a new monitor. Everything works perfectly, except in games, during gameplay I get random black screens that last aprox 1-2 seconds, and then it comes back; i don't get the no signal message. I have looked online and I have seen a lot of people with this issue. The fix ranges from drivers, cable , to new psu or new videocard etc and it is a lot to test. These should not be the case for me as the pc is new,i stress tested it and there were no issues; also this problem occurs only when g sync is on. If g sync is off, the issue goes away. Now ,my monitor supports freesync, but it is not g-sync certified, however i have seen plenty people online having no issue with this monitor with g-sync and also a lot of people having this issue with g-sync certified monitors.I am using the monitor provided Display Port cable. Maybe my PSU is not enough? as it is only a 550 W.All temperatures are ok, not going above 80 in any game i played, and it happens in both graphically intensive games as well as older games that are not demanding. All my specs are below. Please advise, thank you Note*: After some more playing, i noticed there is a sudden fps drop, from 144 to about 110 for example for like a second, from time to time depending on what's happening in game, and that is when the black screen happens, but not always because of an fps drop." 4. Thanks, I am also thinking to get the samsung, mainly because every time i had an Acer product it malfunctioned in some way. But maybe i was just unlucky .
  5. Hi there, I have just bought a new PC (r7 3700x, rog strix 2070 super) and I would like to get a new monitor as well, as I have an 8 years old Asus that is really bad. Because i overspent a bit on other components, i need to save some money on the monitor. I have done some looking around and I am between these two: Acer Nitro XV272 (full hd, 27", IPS, 1ms, 144hz) and Samsung C27FG70, (27" curved, VA panel, 1ms, 144hz). Which one from these two would be best? The pc will be mainly used for gaming and entertainment, and some database development from time to time(work wise, the monitor does not really matter). The games i play include PUBG,LoL, Witcher 3, assassins creed, forza,PES and the like . If you have any other monitor suggestions, i welcome them. They should not be above the 300 pounds mark.(UK) https://www.box.co.uk/Acer-Nitro-XV272-27-Full-HD-HDR400-IPS-_2560550.html?fbclid=IwAR1gl8x3l44gYaZzy6qH4Qor131_j3MHOkAd-XsgWkATPL0BTZ3REHgq5jI https://www.box.co.uk/Samsung-C27FG70-27-Full-HD-FreeSync-14_2023818.html?fbclid=IwAR3lSmP4gTX1BWJWOnRRUQJ7b6jQwh66Qoggf3jdlaEWghlSgpsfOouGsIg Thanks
