  1. Thank you for this, but where does one find these care instructions? I just checked the pants and there's nothing there about it.
  2. I'm willing to pay for one that meets the specs but I just can't find one that exists. I have one of the Level1Techs ones but it is DP 1.4. It's just baffling to me that DP 2.0 has been out for 5 years already and adoption has been so slow.
  3. I wash everything in tap cold water. The dryer at my laundromat unfortunately only has a medium and high setting, so I use medium.
  4. Hi all, I'm using the Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 Dual-4K monitor (it's basically two 28" 4K 240Hz monitors glued together with no seam). I have it set up on my PC at 240Hz with an RX 7900 XTX. I would like to add a KVM to switch between that PC, my laptop, and my M2 Mac Studio, but I don't want to give up the resolution or refresh rate. My laptop has HDMI out that I can convert to DP if necessary. The Mac has Thunderbolt display out (and HDMI but I obviously would prefer the higher display specs of Thunderbolt). Can anyone recommend a KVM with three or more inputs that can handle this?
  5. Hi all, Over black friday I picked up the stealth sweatpants which quickly became my favorite pair of pants ever, that is, until they shrank on the first wash and now only go 3/4 down my calves. Now I'd like to pick up the Stealth Sweatpants, Lounge Pants and Sweatshorts, but am concerned for similar shrinkage. Should I buy a size up? None of these pants have a belt loop so if I buy a size up and it's too big I'll be SOL in the other direction. Can anyone confirm that they bought any of these and if items shrank in the wash? Thanks
  6. Hi all, I have some shelves that are built-in to the wall, they are part of the house. They're very similar to this: There are sixteen shelves in total and I originally wanted to use RGB strips to add a light shining down into the shelves. I've watched some tutorials but they all require drilling holes to run the cables through, and since I'm renting I can not do that (it explicitly says no destructive modification to any pre-installed fixtures in my lease). I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other options. Like is there something that exists like wireless charging pads that can send the power wirelessly through the walls of the shelves? Thanks in advance.
  7. I would absolutely go with the 2TB crucial. Don't get me wrong, the other drives are great, you've truly narrowed it down to some of the best drives out there. But double the capacity? That's hard to pass up. They all have dram cache and will perform well. In benchmarks the hynix has the edge but in the real world you likely won't notice the difference. I'd take double capacity over a 5-10% faster drive any day of the week.
  8. I wouldn't say it's "normal" but under extended load it's certainly possible if you've got it crammed into a chasse without any air movement. It won't necessarily hurt the drive, it'll just throttle its performance down if it hits its pre-programmed max temps (usually they're above 70C). If there's a way for you to relocate the drive so that it's in the path of a fan in your case you may get better performance out of it when you're doing long copy operations like this.
  9. Managed to get one of the new Threadripper Pro CPUs and have it in-hand but it's useless without a motherboard. No retailer anywhere in the world seems to have any TRX50 or WRX90 boards. NewEgg just put two TRX50 boards up on their site for pre-order but they are not stocked. There are no Pro (WRX90) boards, not even for pre-order, like at all. I need the memory support and extra pcie lanes of WRX90 so I'm sitting here wringing my hands. How do you release a CPU without any motherboards?
  10. Aw, that's a buzzkill. I want to make a joke about right to repair but I'm worried someone will take me seriously. I may try to hit them with a heat gun and do the swap anyway just to see if I can make it work. Obviously I know this will void my warranty but danger is my middle name.
  11. Thanks for that, but they are wireless because I often move back from my desk to the couch, that's the whole reason I'm getting the 57" screen. Is there any way to keep them wireless? Are there any bluetooth kvm's that can do hdmi 2.1?
  12. Hi all, I just preordered the new Samsung 57" widescreen Neo G9 and I understand it has a KVM in it. I'd like to use it on my desk to switch between my PC and a Mac Studio that I also have on order. Thing is, my keyboard (Anne Pro 2D) and mouse (the apple magic trackpad) are bluetooth, so there's nothing to plug in for the K or M in the KVM. What's the most efficient way to quickly swap keyboard, video and mouse between these systems?
  13. Soooo I got two different colored versions of the screwdriver and I'd like to mix the different colored parts together to make one like the ones at LTX. Does anyone have disassembly instructions for the screwdrivers?
  14. Thank you, I found this via Google earlier but it doesn't seem to be available in the USA. Not even Amazon carries it.
  15. Hello I have 17 aRGB (5v) devices I want to connect to my new build. Mix of fans, strips (four phanteks neon which has a LOT of leds), and other lighting elements like Strimer, a gpu support bracket, psu, etc. Yes, I know, it's excessive, but this is an indulgence build and I want it to throw laser rainbows into the night sky, no judgement please. The problem is that my motherboard only has two 5v argb headers (JRAINBOW on msi). I've tried a series of splitters, but eventually each argb header runs out of addresses (only 75 supported) and everything on the latter half of the chain remains dark. Does anyone know of any third-party RGB controllers that I could either daisy-chain or install multiples of in order to connect all seventeen of my aRGB devices and sync them all from one interface? How do I drive power to all these devices? Surely there's not enough on those little 5v mobo headers. Someone recommended that I try the thermaltake tt sync controller, but that uses proprietary thermaltake connections that I don't know how to convert to my 4-pin (with 3rd pin blocked) argb. Any ideas?
