  1. I see, thanks for the clarification!
  2. Thanks for the rapid answers guys. I changed the Q-Fan RPM threshold to 100 RPM (was at 200) and it didn't change a thing, then i disabled it and the PC booted without showing the warn. I'll be monitoring for the next few hours to see if it gets hot or anything. And just a doubt, since the fan is not being detected in case the CPU temps gets really high will the fan rpm raise as well or will it maintain the same rotation? I don't know exactly this issue's outcomes.

    CPU Fan Error

Hello guys. So, I've bought a DeepCool Gammaxx 400, installed it (cpu fan header) and everytime the pc is booted the fan error shows up. It is psychically working, the leds light up and whatnot, but none of the "hardware detection/management" softwares could detect the cooler, neither did the BIOS. To make sure it wasn't a hardware malfunction i plugged it into the chasis header and the BIOS actually detected it (and it seems at higher RPM than when plugged in the correct header), but i'm not sure how harmful it could be to leave it like that and ignore/turn off the error log. Here's a list of things I've tried already: • Update BIOS; • Change BIOS cpu-fan configurations; • Re installed the cooler. The CPU temp is ranging from 33ºC ± 2ºC while idleing/web browsing, but i can't help but concern. Thanks!
