  1. UPDATE changing fancurve to 100% didn't solve anything but I have found even more weird behavior to current symptom. when the temp is stuck at 65c at idle. It's temp goes down when I open task manager... ?? what is this behavior...any ideas? https://imgur.com/a/JttQ1co
  2. TY for all the replies, I have changed the fan curves but it doesn't change the symptoms. This used to not happen for first 3 months since I built the rig. Heres the Things I have changed anything recent was updating to the latest motherboard bios and thats about it.
  3. fans are spinning at 100% on idle 65c. It's on the Hot side.
  4. TY for quick reply. HWinfo shows the same 65c. Highest temp I hit on workload is 77c and it goes down to 65c and its stuck there.
  5. Ryzen 5 3600x stock settings Gigabyte A320m sh-2 latest bios Here are the symptoms: I start pc -> idle temp is 45c -> I watch video or workload and it hits 65c+ -> I exit all workloads but it's temp won't go down. Once it hits 65c+ it doesn't go back down even on idle. I went to power plan and changed processor power rate down to 5% but still stuck. Everything else, cores clocks, temps, fans games are all fine. Helps!! https://imgur.com/a/B6SEnjw
  6. I often go live stream on Discord, when my friends wants to watch gameplay walkthroughs. Question about go live coding for faster and best quality, Discord video option has enable/disable H.264 Hardware acceleration. What does enabling/disabling do? enable or disable according to my specs? Specs: Ryzen 3600x stock A320m s2h gigabyte RX 5600 XT 16gb dual channel 3200mhz ddr4 ram
  7. Specs: Ryzen 3200g Gigabyte B450M DS3H AM4 16gb DDR4 3200 Sapphire RX 580 4gb pulse Thermaltake 80plus bronze 600 All parts are new besides the GPU which I bought in decent price used. Seller did not specify if it was for mining (highly likely..?) Video card works and stays near 70-78c when heavy load but has two major issues. 1. https://imgur.com/rmN3MIH as the image on the link shows that it always goes 100% (3000RPM) fan speed when it reaches 65-70c. Its like fixed and never comes back down to different RPM, just stays that way. 2. using MSI afterburner to custom fan curve does work but it makes crash/blackscreen after random time into heavy load. I have googled around and is this a possible target temp/fan speed? this is factory default or could it be mining vbios? any suggestions/idea on what I should do?
  8. Specs: Ryzen 3200g Gigabyte B450M DS3H AM4 mobo 16gb DDR4 3200 Sapphire RX 580 4gb (latest driver) Seasonic Bronze 550 PSU All parts are new except GPU (1 year) and PSU (PSU used for 5-6years) Rx 580 started coil whine when fans were hitting 2900-3000 RPM and made heavy load games to go black screen (sound were looping on background still). Restarted desktop couple of times...and using Afterburner to set custom fan curve, I've managed to keep it at 75c and 55% 2200 fan speed. But after like 15min into heavy load game, it turned black screen again, NOT a force restart but black screen with sound still going/looping. I would like to figure out if possible that is it GPU or PSU is causing this issue. Any ideas and helps will be appreciated!! if there is anything I didn't specify, LMK!!
  9. TY for the reply, I am using windows 10 pro 64 bits I am getting to the bios using my original/old card GTX 960. Window is indeed installed on Legacy mode as the image says
  10. ty for the reply, i am aware of this and think that the motherboard disables the on-board gpu but I manually disabled the hd 4000 beforehand.
  11. graphic cards fans does spin, same symptoms show on both 570,580
  12. no took the GTX 960 out and in goes the RX 580, 8pins are in on to a PCIEx16 slot.
  13. Been using the following spec and system for around 5 years now: i5 3570k 16gb DDR3 ram 500w psu (gigabyte ga-z77x-d3h motherboard) EVGA GTX 960 2gb Short story: I was replacing my gtx 960 to the one I got from a friend which is RX 570 4gb reference model, that was from his Dell inspiron tower (used for 1 year). I also have RX 580 4gb that I bought from Ebay. Desktop turns on with fans spinning and LED lights on mouse and keyboard, but no signal on monitor tried Hdmi to Dvi-d cable, no signal. Tried different monitor with hdmi to hdmi..no signal. Things Ive tried is CMOS, Reseat rams, diff PCIE slot Update: so, here is what bios looks like using my old GTX 960 and looking at Bios https://ibb.co/n17HxB2 https://ibb.co/JQm8D9d Window is installed on Legacy https://ibb.co/8Xw1MSJ I have a feeling that its about bios..but idk what to touch and try. HELPS!!
  14. TY for replying!, ok I will do clean uninstall the nvidia drivers once again but froom safe mode. I downloaded the driver from AMD site but it won't install cause it won't read the card...and its slotted in... well its using HD 4000 ...maybe it can't read the RX 570 because I'm using the HD 4000 at the same time..?
  15. CPU: i5 3570k Ram: 16gb ddr4 (2x8gb) GPU: Dell OEM reference RX 570 4gb Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-z77x-d3h (UEFI and Legacy dual bios currently) PSU: Seasonic g650w OS: Windows 10 pro 64bit I was using the following set up with my old card GTX 960 2gb for the last 2 years. My friend no longer needed his RX 570 (he used for 1 year on his Dell inspiron prebuilt https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-inspiron-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-1400-8gb-memory-amd-radeon-rx-570-1tb-hard-drive-recon-bl… ) so he gave it to me. *It was working fine without any problems for his set up. I put it in PCI-e 16x slot and 6 pin connector using HDMI to DVI-D cable on my 1920x1080p 60hz Dell LED monitor. First try it would Post and fans spinning but with 1 long beep and 2 short beeps (beep code says its something due to GPU), so I searched on google and so tried the following solutions: 1. Took out all the cables from pc, psu and wall. 2. Restarted cmos battery (took it out for 8-10min) 3. Switching Ram sticks. Upon doing the following solutions, beeps were gone!! But still remains no signal. so I connected my old VGA cables to motherboard and integrated intel HD 4000 worked fine. I checked the bios and it was on UEFI and Legacy mode<--dual bios?), but didn't touch anything in bios cause lack of knowledge. and then I've tried using DDU to uninstall all previous Nvidia drivers. still no signal. GPU-z shows Intel HD 4000 when RX 570 is slotted in, but I haven't tried manually disabling HD 4000 (I think it disables automatically when new gpu is installed? correct me if I'm wrong..) yeah, so confusion confusion... I need suggestions and solutions guys and girls. Any help will be appreciated!
