Hi, I recently just bought my first 144hz monitor, which is the MSI Optix G27C2. I noticed that it only runs 144Hz on Displayport 1.2, and 120Hz on HDMI 1.4. I have a laptop that only has an HDMI 2.0 Port, and I want to see if I can use an adapter (HDMI 2.0 to Displayport 1.2) to get my full 144Hz, instead of only 120. Is it even possible, and is it even a good idea? 144Hz and 120 Hz doesn't really have that big of an impact, but I want to see if I can take advantage of the actual listed refresh rate. Thank you!
