  1. I believe alex did a review on some laptops which you may be after on shortcircuit, might want to check it out if its wverything you're after. Other than that, I don't use laptops anymore so I can't give you my own opinion on whats a decent laptop with specs like that.
  2. I've just went and done what you've said and it works. Checked diskpart and both drives are there. Thanks a lot, you're a life saver...
  3. Ahh... I'll have to find myself a standoff then. I'll check this out shortly, thanks for your help.
  4. It worked on a gigabyte A320-S2h but not on my new Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro. The full spec list of this system is on my profile I believe...
  5. Hi, I've been having issues with a M.2 SSD which I got a long time ago, it's a western digital green m.2 that worked on my older system and still does. The issue that I'm having now is locating this drive on my newer system as my hard drives are starting to annoy me and I want to reduce noise using this ssd. I've cleaned the drive through diskpart though even before and after, it wont show up on windows install, bios and diskpart as well. Any ideas on what steps to take next as I'm stumped. Again, its not corrupt or broken as it still works on my older system.
  6. Cheers for the information, workers recently tore up the roads in my area to fit in what I believe is fiber cables so I'll see if I can get a ISP to get my house suitable for this.
  7. Speed up my internet as right now its pretty unreliable
  8. Hello all, I've recently been thinking of moving to more advance/faster networking instead of relying on a service provider since they can sometimes be unreliable and slow from experience. I've been looking into said advance networking though I have no clue what I need - if anyone could reply with a solution where I could have a self-sufficient network system in my house that is done through phone-line bandwidth, that would be great. I know that Asus is pretty good via their products so if anyone could take me through using their stuff. I have watched linus' video on networking though I'm still in the dark about it. Thanks...
  9. Nuclear power plant from motherland comrad! Make babushka proud...
  10. Science work, listen to it every tuesday thursday and friday
  11. If you watch jayztwocents then you'll notice he uses 1000W or higher PSUs for systems that only require around 300W - he explicitly said that having too big of a power supply doesnt matter since your components only draw the necessary power from it - if you already have a 750W PSU then dont worry about common beliefs which roam the internet. It's also good to prepare for the future when you get parts like threadripper or a 2080 ti that are power hungry.
  12. So, to begin with; I think CiT are UK-only though correct me if I'm wrong. I recently got myself a snazzy case manufactured by CiT called the Raider case and I was seeing if I could buy more of the fans featured in that case. However, I found no results for 'their' fans and tried to see if they had their own website or general hub to get things off from (previously searched on amazon). The only thing is that they have no website and no external references to their website so I'm starting to wonder if either they've decommissioned themselves (bankruptcy or other reasons), I'm not looking in the rght directions for their site or they haven't created any platform for their company. Be great if I could get some answers or theories.
  13. It would be good for other fans as well alongside GPU
  14. Is there any good software (except from msi afterburner and other similar software) that is good for setting a fan curve where I don't have to go into bios to set it manually?
