Your only alternative at this point is a USB audio adapter or BT. I did the same thing where I accidentally sent 48V phantom power from a mixer to my Macbook air headphone jack because I was playing around before and forgot to turn it off oops. The system doesn't detect the device at all. My BT audio doesn't even work consistently it will cut out after about 10 minutes of use and I'll have to reconnect the device.
