Welp, I'm an idiot. I was following along with a video that had only been using m.2. Therefor there was never a need for a sata cable in that build. I'm really sorry. Thanks for the help, Bob. Really appreciate it!

Forgive me, but do you mean the power connectors relayed from the power supply?..

I did not know I needed to set anything up on the Ssd prior to using it? I did try all for sata ports on the motherboard, though.

Also, to note, I have hooked up that ssd to my laptop just to make sure it isn't dead. It did come up on thay laptop, so I have no idea why it isn't appearing in the windows installer

Hey guys, I just built my first PC! I'll start with specs... CPU - R5 3600 Mobo - asrock b450m pro4 GPU - Amd radeon rx 5700 Storage - crucial bx500 1tb Now that y'all know what I'm working with I can explain my problem. I downloaded the windows creation tool to install windows on my new pc. While it does boot, I cannot for the life of me get this thing to recognize my ssd. So, I cannot get past an installation. I've been going at this for hours to no avail. Any help would be really appreciated. I'm really new to this, so, I may need a little bit more detail than the average person. Thank you

See the actual problem is that it's just giving me the R5 graphics rather than even being able to switch. I'm so lost.

Thanks for the reply! But sometime in mid December I updated my Radeon Settings and am not running those settings anymore... Here is mine. I don't see an option to switch which is the primary.

Hey guys! New to computer knowledge. And I'm having a bit of a problem with my iGPU and dGPU. I've looked for hours and can't find anything on it. I've got a Dell Inspiron 15 (5576) and it is running Windows 10. I've had it for a few years, but because of my lack of knowledge I didn't know this was a problem from the start. I've done everything from setting everything to high performance both in windows and amd adrenalin. But for whatever reason it only wants to use the integrated/primary gpu for EVERYTHING. I can't for the life of me figure out what I can do to actually use the dedicated gpu in this computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated at this point! Processor - AMD A10-9630P Radeon R5, 10 Compute Cores 4C + 6G 2.60Ghz dGPU - RX 560
