  1. I use a Razer Blade 17 at a desk setup and have been having my memory usage stay very high. I did some research and then saw that my non-paged pool was around 10GB. I restarted and it went down to 200-300MB but later that day it had risen to around 2GB. The memory being shown in task manager doesn't add up anywhere close to what it says is being used under the performance tab. Any help would be appreciated. Specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 16GB of 2667MHz DDR4 SODIMM Ram NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design I have updated all my drivers, and tried running nothing/as little as possible and after leaving it overnight usage is still around 70 percent idle.
  2. This isn't for me, I just saw it and thought it was a good deal for the components. I already have a plenty powerful rig.
  3. an equivalent, after doing some research, with even a kind of crappy psu and the same ram, mobo, gpu, and storage, i couldn't figure out the case, psu, which i found to be 800w, or the fans, so i tried to do equivalents, my guess is that those are proprietary/their own items, i got like 1600+ PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $397.89 @ B&H CPU Cooler Thermaltake Water 3.0 120 ARGB Sync 56.45 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $74.99 @ Newegg Motherboard Asus PRIME Z390-P ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $124.99 @ Amazon Memory Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 Memory $65.99 @ B&H Storage Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $114.00 @ B&H Video Card MSI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB VENTUS OC Video Card $489.99 @ B&H Case Phanteks P300 ATX Mid Tower Case $49.99 @ Newegg Power Supply Topower 800 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $98.99 @ Amazon Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $99.99 @ B&H Case Fan In Win Sirius Loop ASL120 50 CFM 120 mm Fan $19.50 @ In Win Case Fan In Win Sirius Loop ASL120 50 CFM 120 mm Fan $19.50 @ In Win Case Fan In Win Sirius Loop ASL120 50 CFM 120 mm Fan $19.50 @ In Win Case Fan In Win Sirius Loop ASL120 50 CFM 120 mm Fan $19.50 @ In Win Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1619.82 Mail-in rebates -$25.00 Total $1594.82 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-02-11 14:10 EST-0500
  4. For someone who is just getting into the pc space, like a friend
  5. IK its from cyberpower, but its not bad at all for the price, and its all setup, a great entry for some people who have a mid to high budget but don't want to deal with building it. https://www.amazon.com/CyberpowerPC-Supreme-i7-9700K-GeForce-SLC8260A2/dp/B07VFFCQ6L/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=9700k+cyberpower&qid=1581446869&sr=8-1

  7. This isn't really my area of expertise but I think it would be possible if they could shrink Mini-Led's down further. From what I heard though Mini-Led's are white, bright led's for backlights on displays, but I might be wrong about all of this.
  8. If I was aiming for the highest price parts I would just go with some quadro's and some xeons on a server motherboard with like a 100Gig network card and stuff like that. I was going for overkill to the max, balls to the wall if you will, not just the most expensive stupid makesnosense rig ever
  9. Ok. I always loved high core counts and huge cases, and Linus's personal rig with 2 titan rtx's made me wish I had some. That is why my dream pc has these. Having 32 cores just makes me happy and having the, "best of the best" of prosumer gpu's makes me just feel like I have peaked. I don't need 256GB of ram, it's just, if I have the budget, and with no budget I do, why not. Why not make the best. That was my goal here. Make my dream computer and make it a reality.
  10. I meant for 970 evo's. sorry. This is my point where I just want to build the best thing that I can and I have no budget. Like a dream computer that I am making a reality.
  11. Also I was trying to go for just one system if at all possible.
  12. Would this be better? I was planning on having all my ssd storage on an external ssd server. 14. ok thanks. should i move to another section for an all-ssd server?
  15. I was trying to make a build for gaming and editing. I need a lot of storage for what I edit but gaming is alot more prominent. This is the build i pieced together on pcpartpicker.
