Roar Films's Achievements

  1. I sent this email to Linus in hopes to get a response yet understanding the reality of that was nearly impossible haha. Read below to see what I sent them. I watch your videos probably every day because not only are entertaining but they have helped me build my pc that it is today. I built my pc two years ago during the huge bitcoin era and spike in GPU's and RAM. I specifically love the videos that you put together a pc on a budget or you fit a certain need and someone will always fit in the niche of what your accomplishing. For me, though I had a couple of questions as to if I did anything wrong. I built this PC mainly for video editing as thats what i do (Roar Films - shameless plug). With a hint of gaming on the side. Until i upgraded and added more stick of RAM, my pc would always tell me to be careful because the GPU or CPU has reached 81 degrees. Eventually about 7 months ago i bought the new pro RGB ram and it fixed that issue until a week ago. Everytime i log into the computer the first notification i get is "be careful...". Keep in mind this was during the bitcoin times/ GeForce GTX 1080 FE Master cooler Hyper Evo 212 i7 7700k Kaby Lake 500gb SSD 10TB HDD corsair vegenance 2x4gb (this was my original problem, as this was all i had for a year and a half until i bought these) Corsair vegenance pro 2x8gb 500w PSU (this concerns me) z270 gaming pro carbon MSI motherboard NZXT H510 Case NZXT RGB fans (x2) NZXT Hue + Where do you think I should upgrade? What needs to be swapped out? Am i getting all of my power to my GPU with that low of a PSU? I am afraid i put all this together thinking its a beast and then come to realize i hurt myself because i bought things that limit the power of what i have. Any and all help is appreciated!
