  1. recently the Ryzen 5 1600 AF cpu came out, silently. yet, it still isn't on PCPartPicker, anyone know if this is by design or a diferent issue? this is in light of my build plan, im planning to build a 1600 AF system, and saw that it was missing from PCPP. thanks for your time
  2. ok, i do have sata cables, 2 to be exact. i'll definitly do that! thank you!
  3. the mobo should have come updated, as it says desktop 2000 ready on the box. i'd pick the 1600 AF as a $45 discount becuase im that cheap, but i can't seem to get it with pc partpicker. i'm pretty sure my mobo came with SATA, but i'll chack, how can i identify them?
  4. thank you! what do you think of the newer ryzen 1600 AF chip? i can't find it on pcpartpicker but its supposed to be good, even with a 12nm microarcitecture
  5. nothing comes up about it on PCPartpicker, maybe sold out? or is this it? https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Processor-Wraith-Stealth-YD1600BBAFBOX/dp/B07XTQZJ28/ref=sr_1_1?gclid=CjwKCAiAgqDxBRBTEiwA59eEN_3_sOLWYY32ScL9SlalvVKpVahwNwfYDUGQWiFVmQ73RY8PJOzlSBoCQeYQAvD_BwE&hvadid=408359395326&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9033458&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=14428188191863982509&hvtargid=kwd-853609582540&hydadcr=19105_9441128&keywords=ryzen+5+1600+af&qid=1579721892&sr=8-1
  6. oh i see, im pretty new to computer parts in general so i'm just saying what i've learn through linus's vids
  7. i thought that unless the part had x or z on the end it couldn't be over clocked? ill def do 8 gbs of ram, maybe ill upgrade late
  8. so i've decided i want to build a computer. i was given a ROG STRIX B350-F motherboard, and from what i understand its pretty good, i also have a case. heres a list i made, and without the cost of a mobo and case it comes to around $430 USD, i'd like it to be a bit cheaper without giving up too much on performance. i plan on using it for simpler games, such as minecraft, but also would like the possibility to play games like call of duty and apex legends etc, as well as running editing programs such as lightroom (photography) and final cut pro/devinci resolve. 9. so one of my friends gave me B350-F Gaming asus motherboard, it seems to be really nice, but the pc partpicker says that i'd need to update my bios, yet the box says that its ryzen desktop 2000 ready and also a "AM4" socket. i don't really know pcs well, I've only gotten this mobo today with a case, and he told me this forum was good to learn just realized i was super vague, i wanted to do a ryzen 5 2600 build but it seems the only compatible cpus are the 1600 line, yet the box says its ready to use a ryzen 2000 series
