I want to connect a monitor to my laptop through usb-a to hdmi. I bought a couple adapters (usb-a to usb-c) and (usb-c to hdmi) (links below) thinking this would do the trick, couldnt find usb-a to hdmi locally. However when plugged in there is no signal to the monitor. Is there a reason this wont work? The laptop has a nvidia mx250 graphics card if that makes a difference.
