  1. Using windows 10 and KDE Neon in dual-boot.The laptop is a Dell Inspirion 5570. I recently had my laptop's keyboard replaced by a 3rd party, it worked fine for a day or so after, in both Windows and Linux. While on Linux, I then set my laptop to sleep and went to sleep myself. Next day, I continued some work I was doing on Linux then decided to reboot to Windows, but the laptop screen didn't work at all in BIOs, GRUB, and Windows. No backlight even. I connected the laptop to an external display, and everything worked normally on there. In windows device manager, only the external display was detected (Both integrated and dedicated graphics were also detected in case that matters . In Linux, both displays were detected and working. I tried to get help from the same shop that replaced my keyboard, but I don't think they had any idea what they were doing. What could be going on here? Any tips? P.S: I'd been told to reset cmos, but I'm not completely comfortable opening up my laptop, so I want to be sure if I'm gonna do it.
