ConnorJ got a reaction from Dotiki in Dream Computer for My Son
I don't know if you'll really be needing a 2TB HD as well as a 1TB SSD unless you plan on storing your entire life and your children's lives on there. Just stick with the SSD and you'll be fine.

ConnorJ got a reaction from Ben17 in Is C# a good programming language to learn?
I have been learning C# on and off for the past about 3 and a half years and I mainly use it in Unity. As I get closer to becoming an adult I am starting to wonder if I should continue to learn C# as a language for eventually getting a job or maybe use it in hobby projects. I did do research to see what the curriculum of my local college has for computer science and it all has to do with C++ and various web development languages. It kind of just feels like C# is not worth it to learn nowadays besides for Unity.

ConnorJ got a reaction from PositiveRaisin2 in Where can I find Windows
Do you need to have a registered copy of Windows? I know that at least Windows 10 runs fine without being registered.

ConnorJ reacted to Snowmirage in Do you take LTT for granted?
I've been a fan for years. After the first handful of videos I happen across way back in the unboxing on a park bench days I've enjoyed slowly working through the back log of videos and watching the new ones daily over the years. I think I can say with confidence I've seen every video on the main channel at least twice, some well into the double digits (<3 2 gamers 1 cpu)
I was thinking today just how much I look forward to the daily video. I've spent 100's and 100's of hrs with Linus and the other hosts over the years and every-time I pull up a new video its like seeing an old friend again.
Maybe its this amazing beer I've been enjoying all Sunday afternoon talking (Thank you Ithica Brewery! <3) but despite of because of all of LTTs nerdy quirks I feel right at home.
To Linus and all the LTT staff thank you for doing what you do, and please don't ever stop.
We love you guys :fistbump: ??
*O man I got myself right in the feels..... right in the feels...*

ConnorJ reacted to RadiatingLight in How to learn to code?
you just have to make a lot of stuff
Try making a basic interface with tkinter, learn stuff along the way.
try making a tool that can view (or modify) file properties, learn stuff along the way
try making a "game of life" type thing, or cookie clicker, learn stuff along the way.
rinse and repeat until you are the next steve jobs.

And will be keeping all of my current peripherals.

You make a good point. I never thought an earthquake would happen where I live and two happened in a row back in July and yet here I am, having had that happen. Definitely nicer to be safe than sorry.

I'm not actually much of a console gamer, I mainly use it for entertainment like Netflix, YouTube, and watching DVDs. This is the son by the way.

I already have peripherals and some spare hard drives. I'll probably spend all of my storage device money on a nice SSD.
