    What about ownCloud? It allows sync data from workstations and cellphones to a NAS.

    Are you considering build NAS or get a pre-build NAS? I would vote for Synology as I am happy with it.

    If you peritise easy. Then I will recommend a Synology or QNAP.
     
    I personaly feel that Synology is the easyist to use. The con of easy to use, is that you have less interface options. That's where I feel that QNAP is harder to use, but have more options in there interface.

    if i remember correctly, it was a synology NAS they tested on LTT.
    will look intop that again, was some time ago i saw that clip. I do remember that it suported different users. But if i remember correctly it doestn support for phones to cloud store on it. I might be wrong thou.

    ill have to chekc it abit closer,
    shouldnt be anything running in the background and temps as far as i know was decent.
    but ill give it ago tomorrow again ill chenc back in here
