  1. Acer XF270HU is the model. Display adapter driver is version 26.20.15011.5007 in the AMD app, it shows my GPU driver version as: 19.50.11.05-200109a-350652E-RadeonSoftwareAdrenalin2020
  2. Are there any ways to know for sure that's the issue? and i suppose the solution would be to upgrade to the newer gen?
  3. I just recently built my first desktop PC, and I thought i had installed some pretty nice components to be able to run recent games well (not too crazy though),i was shooting for a decent 1440p setup. I haven't played many games, but the ones i have been playing have had some issues. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the main game i have been playing, and it works ok (to an extent). I still experience some stuttering in towns and dense areas, but its a different kind. I have played some of Disco Elysium, which seems to be the most stable of the games i've tried. The other games i have noticed perform worse are older games actually. Assassin's Creed Unity looks very choppy on high and Mirror's Edge Catalyst i just started, and i have stuttering when i turn, for about a half second that happens pretty often. It helps slightly to bump down the graphics to medium or low, but the stutter still persists on 1080p 144hz, and im getting around 100fps on 1440p with high settings. The Frame Rate appears to be steady during the stuttering with the other games as well, which puzzles me. I can't really get a gif or something of the stuttering, but i will try if you guys have any ways to do that without uploading a huge file. My Specs for my build are: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO MAX (BIOS version 3.8) GPU: XFX AMD Radeon 5700 RAM: 2x8GB Corsair Vengance DDR4 (3000Mhz) PSU: Corsair CX550M (550 Watt) Im using an Acer 1440p, 144hz Monitor. I've got 2 intake and 2 outtake fans, temps are normal as far as i can see. The chipset, BIOS and GPU drivers are up to date. Have i overestimated my specs? Have i skipped something in setting up my pc, or could something else be wrong? If you have any ideas on what i can do to remedy this, or if you think i have something improperly set up, please let me know. If you need any more info from me please ask, ill be happy to provide it.
