All the connectors must be plugged in.

Why don't you just test the 6800 XT in the topslot? First run DDU, after that reset motherboard BIOS, install the 6800 XT and fire it up.

What make and model is your PSU and your brothers'?

No clue what his is. He's at work atm. Mines a Corsair 850W 80+ gold. and do i really need to wipe all my gpu drivers and reset bios just to see if i can get it to post?

  2. So i have a 5700xt in my system and recently my brother gave me his 6800xt because it doesn't produce any output and told me to do whatever with it because he got a new one. Just the fans spin but no output. I wanted to put it into my 2nd pcie slot to do some testing but i don't have enough gpu power connectors for both my 5700xt and 6800xt.. Could i only put half the amount of connectors on each gpu and just not run anything that would actually use the gpus? like games benchmarks discord youtube etc? Could i risk damaging my gpu at all? Also if anyone knows what i could try to fix the 6800xt please let me know because i really want it lmao.

  3. Just woke up and my Logitech mouse software is nowhere to be seen, normally it starts up on its own when i boot the computer up, but it didn't and i knew because my dpi wasn't 350 like i set it to, more like 1200 or something, went to manually start it up and i cant find it anywhere.. Also my discord wont open at all as well as steam.

If the RGB flickers, yes that isn’t good. The PSU should be smoothing out that voltage drop, sounds like it isn’t.

The lights in your house dim because they don’t have capacitors to try and “buffer” the voltage drop that is caused by the huge current draw caused when you turn the AC on. Your PSU does have capacitors which should help it provide constant voltage. PC components don’t like voltage fluctuations, and the fact the RGB flickers means there is a voltage drop occurring in the machine.

It it going to fry, maybe? It’s certainly not ideal.

Welp... this might be completely coincidental but my pc wont boot into Windows anymore. Just woke up and it just says startup repair,  restart computer. 😃

  5. The hvac system or whatever its called that sits outside is right beside my window and every time it starts up, all the rgb in my pc flickers (rgb ram, rgb fans, motherboard, gpu). I understand why house lights flicker when the ac starts up and that's probably the same reason my pc does to, but my question is, does that cause any damage to my pc overtime? Because where this happens at (my moms house), I don't stay here often, maybe like 4 days out of a month. Doesn't happen where i normally live at.

I don't have a suggestion for that error, that can be anything from the software bug itself, bad installation, or bad OS.

You can try to reinstall windows or install a separate older version of windows (1903 or 1909) just to play this game.

Nah, thats to much just to play one game.. ima jus sob it off and move on lmfao

Just google forza horizon 7 dcom error.

Just a bunch of forums saying contact Forza them selves through there forums but when you go there to see other people having the problem its just other people replying saying "yeah i have the same issue" but no actual employees commenting and helping...

  8. I've recently gotten 3 error codes on chrome (out of memory) and it crashes my whole windows and every application when it happens.. Most times i have about 30 tabs open, Steam, discord and a game. Always thought 16gb would be more than enough then I'll ever need so never really kept tabs on my ram usage. Is this just something to do with chrome or do i really need to consider Upgrading to 32gb or 64gb? And is 32gb possibly not enough either?

  9. So i just installed my new mobo and for some reason logitech isn't detecting my mouse as a logitech mouse but the mouse is working other than my dpi being very high because the settings in logitech software isn't automatically detecting my mouse so it doesn't make the mouse instantly turn to the dpi i set it to in the software.. Any ideas on how to fix that? And everytime i start up my pc it says "supercharger only supports msi mainboard".. How do i delete all the MSI software and stuff from my old motherboard and install all my new stuff for this mobo?

  10. So i just bought a new motherboard but when looking at it i noticed there's more than just a standard 4 pin cpu connecter and my psu only has a 4 pin for cpu
    Mobo--  https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b550-extreme4/p/N82E16813157933
    PSU--  https://es.thermaltake.com/smart-650w-bronze.html

Does this mean i need a newer/better psu and is there any recommendations anyone has if so?

  11. So when i try to open up radeon gpu software it always does this (the picture) and won't let me close it so i have to go into task manager and force close it which that even takes a while. Then i have to reopen it and repeat the process sometimes up to 5 times until it will actually load, then when i finally get in i always turn my fan speed to max because personally fan noises don't bother me at all, kind of relaxing to be honest lol, but everytime i restart my computer everything in the Radeon software is reset and i have to do it all over again.

PS- if you're upgrading gpus don't get a radeon gpu...😬bbvbv.thumb.PNG.385f653defd670c88e0a8a670fed862b.PNG
