    I know the motherboard is 'compatible', but it also says it's compatible with the Ryzen 7 3700X and I am pretty sure my motherboard wouldn't last long with that. I am asking if anyone has experience with this setup and knows if the motherboard will last with the higher VRM temps.

    Hello, Currently I have a Ryzen 5 1600 with an MSI A320M Grenade motherboard. My friend is upgrading his CPU and would like to give me his old one (Ryzen 7 2700x), I am wondering if my motherboard will be able to handle it? I know that I have to upate the BIOS with my current CPU, but will the VRM be fine on the mobo?
