    USB Tethering

Ohh it use phone wifi adapter. Because I thought it use the same wifi card adapter in laptop. So basically it can reach up to 1 Gbps if i have the mobile data and use USB 3.0 with my phone?
  2. Does Android USB tethering to laptop use the same WiFi adapter card? Is there any speed limit if we use USB tethering? From what I know wireless tethering use the same WiFi adapter card but i don't sure if USB use the same card.
  3. I am a computer system security student. Currently in second semester. I only have an old Asus laptop. . Asus X453MA- Intel Celeron N2930, Intel HD Graphic, 8GB DDR3L 1333mHz RAM(max), 480GB WD Green SATA SSD, 500GB WD BLUE HDD. . There are no issue for me to do simple coding but it really slow when i want to run VM. I currently have 1148 USD. So i just want to ask your opinion what should I buy right now? Ultra thin laptop and the rest for a budget pc? Or all out at a laptop? Or buy new desktop and use old laptop? Or just saving my money and wait for new upcoming laptop or pc? . Just asking your opinion. Maybe I will join capture the flag competition with a laptop. So that one point for laptop. And I play medium game(Apex Legend,GTA 5,The Crew 2,Watch Dogs 2), simple coding, and virtual machine. My priority right now is 16/32 GB of RAM. Share your opinion from my perspective. Thank you in advance.

  8. Can anyone explain why? Because of what? Thermal? Power delivery? In my opinion, if laptop have pcie x16, we can just use pcie riser cable and connect gpu to the laptop. It will make the laptop more powerful right? We can just use external psu for the gpu itself.
  9. I just give a random situation. I only have only old laptop with a new desktop(without any peripherals). So can I use the desktop just using laptop peripheral(keyboard, touchpad, monitor)? And how to do it?
  10. @minibois what i mean by future proof is upgradable for the future cpu like ryzen 4000 series. Or the negative effect if i use it in a long term. Does it do any damage to the mobo. The thermal on the vram. I/o. Anything that shows that this mobo is better than this mobo if i want to upgrade in the future
  11. Gigabyte x570 i aourus pro wifi mini itx mobo Or, Asrock b450 i gaming itx mobo? Which one is more future proof and why? Does both support cpu aio? It is for my mini itx build. Pre built dekstop from Aftershock Impulse.
  12. My friend is in bachelor in cyber security. He use ASUS X453MA(intel celeron, intel hd graphic, 8gb ddr3l ram, 1 tb sata ssd) and he had no computer at all. So he asked what he should buy with a range of 1,000-1,250$. A gaming laptop(nitro 5 maybe) Or, A full setup of desktop(big desktop with monitor) Or, A mini compact gaming dekstop with monitor? Beside coding with multiple apps open, he also want to play game. Not a hard one and not the light one. So i think about choosing higher ram. He said that, if he buy desktop, he will do light coding in the old laptop and heavy one on desktop. Thank you in advance
