    If he got a Ryzen processor he would have to switch his mobo too. It adds $100-200 depending on the chipset. I do agree that Ryzen is better though.

    If you are upgrading, If recommend getting a core i5 9600k with a base clock of 3.7 ghz. Only if you have a mobo with a z390 chipset. This will ensure that your cpu won't bottleneck an rtx 2060.
