Hi guys. I finally changed my ram sticks I bought gskill ripjawsz 4x4 gb 1866. I changed a couple of settings to use ram as 1866mhz. I m testing ram with aida64 memory stress test no error or anything however there is something that makes me wonder when I m testing only ram, cpu usage doesnt reach its full potential. I dont remember what was the cpu usage with previous ram sticks when just testing system memory. I tried to raise cpu voltage and qpi vtt voltage and nothing changed. Is it normal or what ? thx for any reply already. Have a nice night. Edit: I had disabled virtuel memory since 16 gb was enough. I tried by enabling virtual memory it seems that is the issue. Hello everyone. I had shared my overclock settings in previous page for x5675 @4.2 ghz on gigabyte ex58-ud5.I want to give some feedback about a problem. Setting was working perfectly till I downgrade gpu from rx5600xt to rx460. With the same settings an awkward error occured about unproper voltage settings and bios resets itself stock voltage,blck etc. However if I use pc on stock setting for a while and load overclocked settings back it works normal again and if I restart pc while working with overclocked bios settings it gives no errror at the start and all work just fine. But if pc stays shut down for a night and start in the morning error occurs again.(I tought maybe I needed to adjust all settings from scratch, but didnt help). I fixed the problem by reducing blck and some voltages and raised cpu multi a little to achieve same clock speed. So here is my latest cpu-z screenshot. Have fun with your xeons :)) ( Btw I couldnt find any logical explanation about a cpu overclock setting work with rx5600xt flawless and same setting causes a problem with rx460 )

Thx for reply for now its the limitation especially considering core temps after 10 minutes aida64 stress test resuts. I really appreciated the ways u wanted to show to me. Actually these settings fit what u mentioned in suggestion 1 higher blck .I got another settings with lower blck and lower core voltage ofc. I can push further if I get a better cooler.

hello all .my board ex58-ud5 currently using 3x2gb corsair xms 3 1600 mhz ram. I have found local deal 2x8 gb patroit viper ram dualkit Does it fit to my board ? Is ıt good ? to use in triple channel maybe I add another one later .Or could you recommend me ram from aliexpress ?_? thx for your helps already..

I ve found a local deal 2 dual kit so if I use 3 of them it will be okay as much as I understand ? edit : 3*4 would be enough just for gaming ?? or should I go for 3*8 ??

I adjusted ram voltage like 1.64 nothing changed .maybe I couldnt describe my problem exactly .with i7920 When I turn on computer led display keep showing the codes just in order.with x5675 its stuck at c1 code like 10-12 secs and blinking once or twice I tought it reboots itself.So it adds 10-15 seconds more to open compared to i7920 installed.I have played lots of hours games.No problem at all.ACtually I have satisfied More than I tought.Lower power consumption,a lot less heat to deal etc.Btw Idont care if its 1333 or 1600 its not the issue which its gonna get closer maybe higher when I overclock it via blck So its not problem .I just want my 10-15 seconds back Thx for your answer dude.

Hi all.It seems I have a strange thing going on.I havent done any overclocking yet all settings are optimized defaults all voltage settings on auto.But I realized something , maybe its happening from the beginning I m not sure .I shared a photo of hwmonitor at page 134 .After that realized that turbo boost is disabled and some of power save adjustments are not on. So I entered bios and loaded optimized defaults . when I turn computer on , error led shows c1 and reboots like 2 or 3 times and than starts normal and all seems ok in windows(but not sure if its cause of loding optimized defaults)maybe its like that from the begining .I researched c1 code people say its about memory settings .So checked memory settings which voltage settings on auto and timings were 9-9-9-24 @1333 mhz.And than checked the specs on rams(corsair xms3 3*2gb 1600mhz) which is 8-8-8-24.I tought that maybe the timings are the problem so changed timings 8-8-8-24@1333mhz.this time when I started computer a message appeared about overclock failure which I didnt any just corrected timings.I remembered some people said f13 bios isnt most stable .I downgraded bios to f12 but nothing has changed. Anyone has any idea ? I write specs of computer if it helps any ..( btw I turned off all power saving futures cause of if it happens cause off them nothing changed again) ga ex58-ud5 x5675 corsair xms3 3*2gb rx460 edit:I have found a topic which is similar to my problem.I have 6gb ram instead of 12 gb.About playing games no issues at all but I want my computer turns on as fast as used to be

hey guys. Finally my x5675 came in and installed it.my board is gigabyte ex58-ud5, bios f13. I just installed did nothing special.It works like a charm. I think my cooler akasa nero (first revision with 3 copper pipe,bought it at 2010) isnt best but still x5675 runs like 10 degrees cooler maybe a little more than my i7 920. at stock speeds and specs after 10 minutes prime95
