  1. Okay thank you for the quick answer
  2. Hello guys, I would like to upgrade my wifi network, because the current router struggles to handle that many wifi connected devices. Also in online games like cs go, I get frequently 1 - 3 % package loss with ping spikes into the 70 - 90s. My current router (CH7465LG-LC) has an integrated modem with a coaxial cable input and is provided by my ISP. Unfortunately, it is not possible to connect the PC directly via a LAN cable. Would it be possible / make sense, to buy a modern router (Huawei AX3 for example), connect it with a LAN cable to the current router, and than distribute the WiFi signal with the new router? I hope my question is clear. Kind regards and thank you in advance, neomodd
  3. // So little update, just in case anybody runs into a similar problem. Apearently the problem has been an INTEL Wifi software. After uninstalling this the problem has resolved I hope it will remain like this. ///Edit: it did not solve the issue. After approximately half an hour the microstutters have returned
  4. Dear LTT-Community, since a couple of days I have started to notice microstuttering whenever I am playing a video on YouTube or Twitch. It also doesn't change if I lower the resolution down to 480p. I am using the latest x64 Firefox version - 73.0.1 and my system is also not under a heavy load when I am playing these videos. - CPU usage around 10 - 30% (max.) - i5 4440 (quadcore @ 3.1 GHz) - GPU around 1 - 5% (Asus Strix 470) - Internet connection is stable and fast enough I have tried already to disable harware acceleration or use plugins like h264ify, because I have read that the video codec might cause these stutters. No success though. Do you have any idea, what else I could try? I'd really like to understand why this is happening. My much "weaker" laptop with only an i3 - 7th gen. and an intel HD graphics, has no struggels at all playing these videos smoothly. Best regards and thank you in advance!
  5. Alright - thanks again for the quick help!
  6. Thank you for your fast answers! I have crawled myself through all TV settings but could not find anything. I have Game Mode enabled and I am using the HDMI 1 port, which is a 2.0 port just like all the other ones. But it did not make a difference. So I guess upgrading my laptop is my only choice to get 4k @ 60Hz ?
  7. Dear LTT - Community, during the last christmas sales I have bought a new Samsung 4k 50'' TV. (50" Samsung UE50RU7092) LINK TO IT //I wish Linus' video would have came out earlier Either way, when I connect my laptop to it with an HDMI 2.0 cable, certified for 4k @ 60Hz, I can still only get a 30Hz output on my TV. My Laptop is a Lenovo ideapad 520S-14IKB, 80X2 model. Link to the Laptop As far as I know, it should have an integrated intel graphic chip. Now I have two questions. 1. Is there any way, I can achieve a 4k image @ 60 Hz on my TV with this current setup? 2. If not, where is my bottleneck and what do you think would be the cheapest way to get there? Kind regards and thank you in advance, neomodd
