  1. Good to know that my machine may be ready. I just hope I see a WU come in soon so I know I didn't break it yesterday.
  2. I only asked because up until yesterday, I was getting a fairly steady stream. I installed a piece of software and hadn't seen any since. It might have been a coincidence or I broke something.
  3. Doing all diseases is cool, but I'd like to see COVID listed in the interface. Maybe there not ready for COVID, IDK.
  4. OK, I don't know if I have a problem or not. Left the PC up all night and it doesn't look like it processed much of anything. Are other not getting any work or is it me??? Is there a way to see a chart on what was processed on a daily basis???
  5. On the short description on the Corsair iCUE H115i RGB PRO XT Liquid CPU Cooler, it states" While on the technical specification tab, it says that they are 120mm fans while the radiator is 137mm wide. Something isn't right somewhere on this website. Anyone know which it is? Is the radiator 137mm wide with 140mm fans? Which part of this webpage should I believe? https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/iCUE-RGB-PRO-XT-Coolers/p/CW-9060044-WW#tab-tech-specs
  6. I have a ASUS ROG Crosshairs VIII. Is there a way to directly control the fan speed and lighting via the motherboard??? https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Fans/RGB-%26-LED-Fans/iCUE-QL-RGB-PWM-Fan/p/CO-9050098-WW#tab-downloads
  7. I got my ASUS ROG motherboard installed in the case and running. I need some easy affordable LED strips to work with the motherboard. I’m thinking that I need a ~12” strip across the top edge of case, but strip can’t be too wide. I’d like to try seeing what backlighting motherboard on the front edge might look like. Again, a 12” strip should work but has to be thin enough to fit. Now; it has been over 10 years since I’ve built a PC, so this lighting stuff is all new. Can anyone make recommendations on what all I need? What products might make this an easy thing to do?
  8. Ok, I changed out PSU. Changed GPUs. Disconnected everything from motherboard. Finally, as a last straw, tried a different monitor. Who would have guessed that the monitor would be the issue. It was hooked up via DVI both times. Hmmm... Not sure why a monitor would prevent it from booting.
  9. I’m trying to get my new build to boot. Motherboard is posting 02. Everywhere that I have read says it might be the GPU or video cable. I’ve swapped the video card out and same results. I’ve done a flash bios to the latest version and it appeared to work, but didn’t change anything. Anyone have any ideas???
  10. OK, based on the feedback, I ordered a 2070 Super card. https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-3175-KR Thanks
  11. Are all the 2070 Super cards about the same? I'm not seeing anything that makes me want to buy with model/brand over another.
  12. I'm down to the last purchase before I can go operational on my new build. I've waited until the last thing on the GPU. I'm was thinking about buying a RTX 2070 Super. Checked on ebay, it looks like I can get a used 1080ti for a hundred dollars less. What do you guys think? A 1080ti could be a bit faster, but the 2070S is more current... I don't think that I can wait until the Nvidia 30 series comes out.
  13. I ended up buying an Asus ROG Croshair VIII. I had bought a Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe m.2 stick for the OS. I was going to buy a cheap 2.5 SSD SATA drive for data. pcpartpicker was showing me the cost of a 2TB SATA version were the same in either format. Thought I’d save the hassle in mounting a 2.5” drive.
  14. I’m building and my motherboard has (2) M.2 slots. I got an NVMe for the OS, but will it effect it’s performance if I put and SATA M.2 drive in the 2nd slot? I’d like to think that they would be independent of each other, but thought that I had better asked.
  15. Quick question guys... I’m installing a m.2 NVMe drive on Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero. Under the cover, there is a pad stuck to the cover plate. Am I supposed to remove the cover on the pad? Looks like it would be hard to remove and install if sticky. It also seems like it’d be a one time use if I did. Anyone have any experience with this?
