  1. I’ve scrolled through a lot of different posts and I’m still wondering if my 650 watt 80+ gold psu is enough. I plan on upgrading my cpu, mobo, and possibly adding another m.2 ssd to use as game storage. I plan on going with the ryzen 9 3900x and asus x570 mobo. I currently have a rtx 2070 super, a cooler Master 240 pro, 16 gb ddr4 3200 ram, a couple ssd's and hdd's, and of course a bunch of rgb fans (5 to be exact) and about 5 led light strips with two nzxt cam controllers. With all what I have and wanting to upgrade to the ryzen 9....my question remains is my 650 psu sufficient enough while mostly using it for gaming at small intervals as I'm a father and full time student as well as working full time...I don't get to game much but when I do it's hours at a time. Please help!
  2. Thank you for all the input everyone. I have one last recommendation, as far as graphics cards go... I don't wanna spend more than 600...so is the 2070 super the best out there for that price point? Using it for gaming and some vr?
  3. I am not too familiar with amd, as I have only really ever had intel cpu's. So as far as price range, what would you guys suggest for an amd cpu thats around the i7 9700k price range? Also, as for as mobo goes, i believe i've seen that my ram is ok to use if i were to switch cpu's, but also i really only want/need two m.2 slots, any recommendations on that ?
  4. Hey guys, first time post here. I am currently in a dilemma, do I upgrade my gpu first, or my cpu and motherboard first? My specs for my computer are a I5 6600k, gigabyte z170 Ud3 ultra, 1tb Samsung nvme ssd, gtx 1060 6gb, 650 gold psu, 16 gb corsair vengeance 3200 ram, and a aio cooler for my cpu. So after doing some research on which I should upgrade first I've come across conflicting answers. I also should mention I'm mostly gaming on a 1440p, 144hz monitor. I also use my computer for cyber security, running a virtual machine, and multiple programs open at a time along with Chrome and multiple tabs... Please help shed some light on what's going to be more effective (in terms of gaming), upgrading to a 2070 super, or to an i7 9700k and mobo.
