  1. Do you know how I can reduce the idle power consumption as I've seen others that have got their 3600 idling at 20W?
  2. My Ryzen 5 3600 at idle always sucks down at least 30-40W. Is this normal? I'm on the Ryzen Balanced Power plan. I've just switched over from my 2600 where it idled 15-20W. Also I've noticed that the CPU core power and Soc Power don't at all add up to the CPU package power. Where does the other power come from?
  3. This upcoming AMD laptop might be a great one once it's available in two weeks: https://www.newegg.com/fortress-gray-asus-tuf-gaming-tuf506iv-as76-gaming-entertainment/p/N82E16834235406
  4. If you're fine with a 1080p panel for a desktop, I think this is a good parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Eldrin_D/saved/#view=KRW68d
  5. First off what kind of games do you play and do you do anything besides gaming?
  6. I'm no RAM OC enthusiast, but i know it depends on the voltage and the kind of die chips. If you're planning on overclocking your ram with the voltage past 1.4V for everday use this'll be probably degrade it by a decent amount unless it's samsung B-die. If you want to really be on the safe side, see how far you can get below 1.4V.
  7. Well I would actually recommend the arctic liquid freezer II 360 https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/2PFKHx/arctic-liquid-freezer-ii-360-563-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-acfre00068a as it's better performing than the current selection of AIOs you have there. I have the 120mm version cooling my r5 2600 and at 3.9ghz all core it never exceeds 50C in gaming.
  8. I personally have 3.9ghz all core on the 2600 at 1.15V. No issues at all.
