The motherboard product page mentions both M.2 slots and what they can and cannot support:
The redline stuff is the most important stuff.
The top slot support M.2 SSD's of the PCIE variety, either at Gen 3 x4 or x2 depending on the CPU, while the bottom slot supports M.2 SSD's of the SATA variety.
I just kinda knew the WD Green is SATA based, but that info can usually be found on the product website too:
(It's often also easy to kinda guess if it's PCIE or SATA, depending on the speeds. SATA caps at ~560MB/s, PCIE can do more. Sometimes the B+M key also gives it away, but both the speed and key are not exclusive to M.2 SATA)
