Weinrib got a reaction from Meganter in For $400 RTX 2070 OR RTX 2060 Super?
I'm gonna be completely objective here:
AMD Pros:
You are going for a x570 chipset, it has PCIE 4.0. RX 5700 and 5700xt versions work slightly (super slightly) better than 3.0. Supposedly over time they should work even better You get a better product for the price AMD Cons:
At the current date, a lot of people have driver issues with their cards. A lot have not. Depends on your luck NVIDIA Pros:
Stuff works out of the box NVIDIA Cons:
The reality is that RTX games can be counted with the fingers of your hands. Properly optimized ones are even less. RTX is not a standard today, and it won't be for the next year at least. So the promised technology is just meh. They are quite more expensive You should balance this before choosing. Besides that, in the Gigabyte vs Zotac game, go Gigabyte. Windforce cards work really nice as said above

I would add that there are a couple uses Nvidia card have over AMD, but they are very specific and have nothing to do with gaming. If you need 12 bit color for art stuff, or if you want to stream games, Nvidia has use over and above their raw FLOP count bs AMD. I personally would say that I suspect the current value of RTX to remain near zero in the future as well. RtX was always more of a “look this can exist” thing than something that was actually useful. It’s only a suspicion though. Can’t be counted on.

Weinrib reacted to rx590overclocker in What are best quiet 120mm fans for an radiator?
the black versions are too expensive. I'm 15 years old, so not rich enough for those. If I was, I would totally buy the noctua black fans.

Most of them. There's a black version tho, but it's a bit more expensive

All of noctuas fans have that ugly beige color.

Besides the Noctuas, the other top performer here is the BL085 (From Be Quiet!). I swapped those on my ML120R and have 2 on my front as input. They are awesome and silent, and personally I find them more attractive than noctua's
I don't know where you reside but check the prices on them both
Good luck

Weinrib got a reaction from _kR15n in New pc build recommendations
Awesome. Yeah, I'm definetly leaning on the EVGA one. He is not interested in hardware stuff nor OC'ing, that's why I chose the 3600. But I'll check on the 3600x for upgradeability
