  1. So overall is there any significant difference between 7200 vs 5400 (optane aside) in doing those tasks i'm mention above, 5400 is enough or i must or should paid more for 7200 ?
  2. Optane is a no for me since my motherboard only have 1 m.2 socket and i alreaedy use it for my SSD game drive (running windows on sata ssd), without something like optane is there any difference between 7200 and 5400 when doing all the tasks i'm mention above ?
  3. Base on what i found 8tb plus end with EFZZ and 10tb or more end with EFBX, those letters indicate CMR so it should be good And 5400 is good for those multi tasking i'm mentioned above right ?
  4. Hi, I'm in need of a new HDD for storage, mainly use it for downloading files using torrent software or IDM (file size are variable, a few Mb to nearly 100Gb sometime); storing data like movie, picture, some anime,...; backup Steam games, transfer files to and from external drive;... do one at a time or all of that at the same time (watching something while waiting for other things being download, or transfer something to external drive while watching or download something), is a 5400rpm drive have any drawback doing all that or i must get a 7200rpm drive? I want to buy WD red plus 8tb but if 7200 drive are needed i'll go with 10tb version
  5. I bought an Aorus AP850GM (it Gigabyte but not the exploding brand) around November last year, a month after buying it have issue with loud noise so i send it back for warranted, when i came to pick it up a week later, told them to plug it in for a test, new issue happened so it took another week, after broken down 2 times, it work fine till now, planning to upgrade in a few months, should i re-use the PSU or buy a new one when upgrade ?
  6. Look good, everything sharp enough, minus 1-2 apps blurry, but only the icon, text all good
  7. I would like to leave everything at 100% but my pair of glasses a little too thick now so not a great option
  8. I just got 1440p monitor (27GP850) and have some questions about using up-scale setting in Display Settings: 1/ Should i up-scale (using Display Settings) everything because at 100% everything too small but when i up-scale some apps icon look blurry, tried using the "right click -> Compatibility -> Change high DPI settings" but it only fixed the text blurry and icon still blurred, like that Steam icon in the picture (i put the Sharpness in monitor setting about 60%) ? 2/ When i'm up-scale Youtube video look ugly at 1080p and lower (crappy internet so 1440p or higher load too slow not to mention a lot of videos are ole or the channel don't upload higher than 1080p videos), so just accept it ? 3/ Is game up-scale too or when you in game the scaling change back to normal ?
  9. The link you post is the 27GN800-B which is a 2K monitor, and if you talking about 4K then i assume you mean the 27GN950-B which is 1500-1600$ monitor, sorry but it far beyond what i can afford
  10. I want to buy a 1440p monitor to replace my old 1080p-60hz monitor, i already came up with a list of somewhat look decent monitors, base on what i found these monitor seem to have the same specs so i should just choose what ever in stock and be happy with it and hope my silicon ticket hit the jacpot or among these monitors there are something really good and really bad, i'm kind of lean toward the S2721DGF because it seem to be a good jack-of-all-trades, can you guy give me opinion about these monitors or experience when using any of them ? Dell S2721DGF Viewsonic XG270Q LG 27GN800-B or 27GL850-B (they don't sell the GN850-B in my country just GN800-B) Gigabyte M27Q or FI27Q Acer XB273U GS Asus VG27AQGL1A MSI MAG274QRF
  11. I think it a bug because the "460.79 nvidia control panel quick start guide" still have show "adaptive" and "optimal power"
  12. no what i mean is whether or not "adaptive" and "optimal" options been replaced with "custom" or the new diver verion have bug or simply my pc have problem
  13. I'm just update my driver from version 457.51 to 460.79, when i'm going to control panel to setup some settings i see that "adaptive" and "optimal power" been replaced with "custom" the option "prefer maximum performence" still there, is this a bug of new version or new feature or my system have problems ? My system: 6600 non-K 16Gb ram Gigabyte 3070 gaming oc Aorus AP850GM psu
