  1. Are you using the Samsung software to check the stat's on that drive to make sure that it is running as fast as it should be. Also you need to adjust so that there is at least a 10% space for the SSD to have available if areas need to be moved when it may start failing. Also make sure that Hibernate is turned off so that Fast boot is off, do not switch on the setting for speeding up the unit in the Samsung software.
  2. If you can't post a screenshot of Disk Management or show any error message, I think I cannot do much for you.
  3. The "unable to reset your PC a required drive partition is missing" error usually occurs when the MBR or BCD record is corrupted. Basically, rebuilding the boot record will resolve the issue. First of all, you can try running a Check Disk to scan and repair all bad sectors of the hard drive. If check disk does not resolve the issue, you should perform a system reset using a recovery drive. please refer to this page.
  4. it has dram, its about the same as those others.
  5. If it were me, I would make the laptop a headless linux server where you can network the laptop drives (or directories) and set the rsync command to run periodically to keep the folders you create for each laptop your backing up, up to date... You would also have to have the drives/folders "mount" before each backup. But there are all kinds of options out there for this.
  6. I have only been in the field for a maximum of 3 years.
  7. Well I don't think they ever said specifically that older chipsets would support new chips. There was some worry back when Zen 2 came out that we wouldn't get old board support as I recall it.
  8. I would recommend either an imac or the Mac mini. however, DON'T buy an iMac with ONLY a platter-based hard drive inside. TOO SLOW. You are going to be very VERY unhappy if you get one of these! Get a fusion drive instead, even the 1tb fusion will be better. The 256gb SSD (not sure if that option is offered on a 21" iMac) is best. Don't let anyone tell you that "it's not large enough" You can add an external USB3 drive for project storage if needed, it won't slow you down at all.
  9. I only yesterday got a Gigabyte Aorus B450 mini-ITX for ~110€ and a 3600X using the boxed cooler. Works fine, single-core boosts to 4.325GHz out of the box, which could well be down to silicone lottery. I haven't tried anything to get it higher yet, but all in all, from my initial experience and from what I've read in articles, B450 is fine for now, unless you are missing some features that are important to you like PCIe 4.0.
  10. ain't my fauly --- zara larsson. i just can't believe its same person who sang symphony.
  11. I'm not sure why or how but my Xbox is doing the same thing so it might be the new DLC or the game's map was updated and it now can't handle it.
  12. I think it’s the way the bands are paired with the casing that gives it a similar overall appearance to the Apple Watch. However, I think the casing/display are different enough and make some notable changes.
  13. Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is the latest and most potent GPU around, and it's also one of the largest consumer GPUs ever produced. The Turing TU102 is 60 percent larger than the Pascal GP102 in the 1080 Ti, with 55 percent more transistors. Those extra transistors went into more CUDA cores, but Nvidia didn't stop there, adding in Tensor cores to help accelerate deep learning algorithms like DLSS, plus RT cores to accelerate ray tracing.
  14. Will this card support MX/Virtual GPUs? To which consumercard is this one comparable?
  15. I'm using Windows 7 for five years and don't want to give it up. Is there any way to use Windows 7 and never upgrade to Windows 10 forever?
