Update: I found a guide which actually worked on Vultr VPS. Now the stream works on YouTube and Facebook fine.
I have setup a Linux vps for my friend who is a live streamer. It is a very simple Nginx + RTMP module running on a Debian 8 server. Basically it works as a very cheap restreaming server. My friend streams to the VPS IP and the server pushes the incoming stream to FB Gaming & YT Channel at the same time.
It's been working fine but recently Facebook has stopped using RTMP protocol and now requires an RTMPS stream. This has become a problem for us, as now the server does not work for Facebook.
After looking on the web, a lot of people got around this issue by using Stunnel4. Unfortunately, it did not work for me and there no error message either.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me figure it out.
